Pollard is expected to get the bigger share of the touches in the Cowboys backfield Sunday at Minnesota, even with Ezekiel Elliott (knee) returning from a two-game absence, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Pollard paced Dallas' ground game in place of Elliott during that span, racking up 40 touches for 275 yards from scrimmage and four rushing touchdowns. When Elliott was active for the first seven contests of the season, Pollard averaged a shade over 10 touches per game, but the team is slated to ease the former back into the lineup, meaning the latter is poised for another outing as the Cowboys' lead runner.

Elliott (knee), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings, remains on track to play, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Official confirmation of Elliott's status will arrive when the Cowboys' inactive list is posted 90 minutes ahead of the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, but Pelissero relays that the running back is in line to return after missing two straight games. In his anticipated return, Elliott is slated to play with a brace on his knee, with Pelissero suggesting that fellow running back Tony Pollard will see his share of touches in Week 11 as Elliott is reintroduced to the mix.

Drake appears likely to serve as the Ravens' lead running back in Sunday's game against the Panthers with Gus Edwards (hamstring/knee) listed as questionable but trending toward sitting out, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Rapoport notes that the Ravens could choose to keep Edwards active if he checks out better than anticipated during a pregame workup, but even if the running back suits up, Adam Schefter of ESPN suggests Edwards may be available only in a "limited manner." With that in mind, Drake seems to be the most likely option to lead the Baltimore backfield in touches, after he carried 24 times for 93 yards and two scores while adding 16 yards on two receptions in the absence of Edwards during the Ravens' Week 9 win over the Saints.

Edwards (hamstring/knee), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, is considered unlikely to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Rapoport's report notably differs from one from Adam Schefter of ESPN just a few hours prior, in which Schefter relayed that Edwards was expected to play but likely in only a limited capacity. More clarity on Edwards' status one way or the other should come when Baltimore releases its inactive list 90 minutes before the 1 p.m. ET kickoff, but at the very least, fantasy managers shouldn't count on the running back taking on double-digit carries like he had in both of his other two appearances this season. Assuming Edwards is sidelined Sunday or only available in a limited capacity, Kenyan Drake will be poised to headline the Baltimore backfield.

Edwards, who's listed as questionable due to hamstring and knee injuries, is expected to play Sunday against the Panthers, but he may be limited, Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.

The fourth-year running back made his season debut in Week 7 following a lengthy absence while rehabbing from a torn ACL and rushed 27 times for 131 yards and two scores across two appearances before leaving Week 8 due to his current knee and hamstring injuries. He was held out for the team's Week 9 win and remained limited during Week 11 prep following Baltimore's Week 10 bye. However, it sounds like the Ravens will have Edwards, Lamar Jackson (illness) and Mark Andrews (shoulder/knee) all available despite being listed as questionable, but Edwards is the only one of the trio who may face some limitations against Carolina.

Evans was elevated to the Bears' active roster Saturday.

Evans got the call-up in early October when David Montgomery was sidelined, but Saturday's designation will likely help provide depth at running back with Khalil Herbert (hip) on injured reserve. Trestan Ebner figures to be the team's No. 2 back on paper, although it's possible Evans sees more offensive work if the team chooses to take a committee approach with the backup spot.

Clement signed a contract with the Cardinals on Saturday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Clement played two contests with the Cardinals' active roster at separate intervals this season. The veteran running back has been strictly relegated to special teams at this point in the 2022 campaign.

The Cowboys didn't elevate a running back from the practice squad this week, signaling that Elliott (knee) is expected to play Sunday against the Vikings, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Elliott already looked to be trending toward a return to the lineup after both head coach Mike McCarthy and team president Jerry Jones commented the veteran back would play this week. It's worth pointing out Elliott was also "on track" to play Week 10 against the Packers, only for reports to surface shortly before the game indicating that he would be inactive. With that in mind, fantasy managers should stay diligent and check reports pertaining to Elliott leading up to Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Elliott hasn't played since Week 8 due to a Grade 2 MCL sprain and a bruise in his right knee, and it's possible the Cowboys could limit the 27-year-old in light of Tony Pollard's success in the lead role over the past two games.

Jackson (knee) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Even though Jackson is set to put an end to a two-game absence due to a knee injury, he'll be playing second fiddle, at best, in a Colts backfield dominated by a now healthy Jonathan Taylor. Jackson has shown prowess as a pass catcher, though, having hauled in 16 of 17 passes for 121 yards this season, so he may slide into the role previously held by Nyheim Hines, who was dealt to the Bills at the trade deadline.

Elliott (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

The running back was a limited practice participant Wednesday through Friday, and potential outcomes for Sunday include being active but handling a lesser role than he's accustomed to. The Cowboys and Vikings are scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, with Tony Pollard likely taking on a large workload in the event Elliott is inactive for a third straight game. The Cowboys apparently don't expect that to happen, but fantasy managers still should keep an eye on the situation given Elliott's injury designation and limited activity this week.
