  • Melvin Gordon RB | BAL

Broncos' Melvin Gordon: Logs another limited practice

Gordon (neck/ribs) remained a limited participant at practice Friday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

At this stage, there's nothing to suggest that Gordon's status for Monday night's game against the Chargers is in any danger, but he'll likely need to be listed as a full participant in Saturday's practice in order to avoid carrying a designation into the contest. Assuming he's active versus Los Angeles, Gordon is in line to continue to lead the Broncos' backfield, with Mike Boone and possibly Latavius Murray also factoring into the mix now that Javonte Williams (knee) is out for the season.

  • Rico Dowdle RB | PIT

Cowboys' Rico Dowdle: Ruled out for Week 6

Dowdle (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Eagles, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

It's unclear when Dowdle picked up the ankle injury, but he was sidelined for each practice this week and has been ruled out for Sunday's contest. His absence won't be a major loss to the Cowboys offense as the running back played primarily on special teams during the first five games of the season, but his absence could open up room for Malik Davis to be elevated from the practice squad.

  • Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Questionable for Week 6

Taylor (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars after practicing in a limited fashion both Thursday and Friday.

After sitting out the Colts' Week 5 win over the Broncos with the sprained right ankle, Taylor took some steps forward in his recovery from the injury by getting back on the field Thursday and Friday. Colts head coach Frank Reich hasn't yet indicated whether the limited participation will be enough for Taylor to gain clearance for Sunday's contest, but additional reports on the running back's status should trickle before Indianapolis has to release its Week 6 inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Top backup Nyheim Hines is also listed as questionable after exiting early in the Week 5 win with a concussion, but he practiced fully Friday and has just one more step to clear in the NFL's protocol for head injuries in order to play Sunday, according to Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis. Deon Jackson is the lone healthy back on the 53-man roster at the moment, but the Colts will likely promote another back from the practice squad no later than Saturday if the team is truly concerned about the availability of either or both of Taylor and Hines.

  • Colts' Nyheim Hines: Deemed questionable for Week 6

Hines (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars after he was a full participant in practice Friday.

Per James Boyd of The Athletic, Hines ditched the red jersey he donned for the Colts' first two practices of Week 6 to take contact in Friday's session. Though Hines appears to have reached the fifth stage of the concussion protocol, head coach Frank Reich told Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis that the running back still has one more step to clear, which is presumably getting the green light to play from an independent neurologist. If Hines is cleared ahead of Sunday's game, he could get another crack at an expanded role out of the backfield. After missing the Week 5 win over the Broncos, top back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) managed only two limited practices this week and is also being listed as questionable for Sunday.

  • Damien Harris RB | BUF

Patriots' Damien Harris: Listed as questionable for Sunday

Harris (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Browns after practicing in a limited capacity Thursday and Friday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

Per Zack Cox of NESN.com, previous reports indicated that Harris was expected to miss time, but the running back's official designation indicates that he has a chance to suit up this weekend. If, however, Harris ends up out or limited versus Cleveland, Rhamondre Stevenson would be in line for added touches, with Pierre Strong and Kevin Harris -- who was signed off the practice squad Thursday -- in the mix for complementary work.

  • Samaje Perine RB | CIN

Bengals' Samaje Perine: Good to go Week 6

Perine (abdomen) was a full practice participant Friday and doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game in New Orleans.

As usual, Perine is on track to handle No. 2 duties out of the backfield behind three-down workhorse Joe Mixon. The role hasn't translated to much playing time or consistent touches for Perine, who is averaging just three carries and two receptions per game and hasn't seen the field for more than one-third of the snaps on offense in any of the Bengals' first five contests.

  • Cardinals' Keaontay Ingram: Set to debut Week 6

Ingram is expected to make his NFL debut in Sunday's game in Seattle with James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) listed as out for the Week 6 contest, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Since he hasn't been a part of the Cardinals' special-teams units this season, Ingram, a sixth-round rookie out of USC, was inactive for each of the team's first five games while Arizona had all of its key running backs available. The losses of Conner and Williams for at least one week will pave the way for Ingram to dress, but the 22-year-old may only play a handful of snaps behind Eno Benjamin, who handled a workhorse role in the Week 5 loss to the Eagles following Conner's departure in the second quarter. The Cardinals will also elevate Corey Clement from the practice squad to provide another depth option behind Benjamin.

  • Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Questionable, but expects to play

Mostert (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings after logging limited practices Thursday and Friday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald relays that the running back said he'll play this weekend, but Mostert's status will still be worth verifying ahead of the 1 p.m. ET kickoff. As long as he's active, look for Mostert to continue to lead the Dolphins' rushing attack in Week 6, after carrying 18 times for 113 yards and a touchdown to go along with one catch for nine yards in Miami's Week 5 loss to the Jets.

  • Eno Benjamin RB | NO

Cardinals' Eno Benjamin: Lead-back role awaits Week 6

Benjamin is expected to serve as the Cardinals' lead back Sunday against the Seahawks with head coach Kliff Kingsbury having ruled out both James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) for the Week 6 contest, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Meanwhile, rookie sixth-round pick Keaontay Ingram is expected to be active for the first time this season as Benjamin's backup, while Kingsbury confirmed that veteran Corey Clement will be promoted from the practice squad to provide additional depth in the backfield. Kingsbury hasn't tipped his hand regarding how the workload distribution among the three backs will shake out, but the prevailing expectation is that Benjamin will step into Conner's usual three-down role, just as he did when Conner exited last Sunday's win over the Eagles. In his most extensive NFL action to date Week 5, Benjamin played 54 percent of the offensive snaps -- including 94 percent in the second half -- and finished with 53 yards and a touchdown on 11 touches (eight carries, three receptions on four targets). With Kingsbury indicating that Conner isn't a sure bet to make it back for a Thursday night game Week 7 against the Saints, Benjamin could be in store for a multi-game run as the Cardinals' top back.

  • Corey Clement RB | ARI

Cardinals' Corey Clement: Getting Week 6 call-up

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Friday that Clement will be elevated from the practice squad for the Cardinals' Week 6 game in Seattle, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Arizona may wait until Saturday to make Clement's appointment to the roster official, but he'll be on hand Sunday to provide another healthy body out of the backfield with James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) sitting out Week 6 and with Jonathan Ward (hamstring) having recently been moved to injured reserve. Eno Benjamin is expected to step into Conner's usual role as Arizona's lead back, but Clement could serve as a change-of-pace option behind him in addition to contributing on special teams. Rookie sixth-round pick Keaontay Ingram is also on hand and could also have a role in the game plan behind Benjamin.
