  • Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon: Good to go Sunday

McKinnon (shoulder/knee/hamstring) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

McKinnon practiced fully Wednesday and Thursday before he put in a limited session Friday to earn the questionable tag, but he's been cleared to face Jacksonville. The 30-year-old has only seven carries over the past three games, though he's been more involved in the passing game with 11 receptions for 105 yards during that stretch. Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire should also be involved as the Chiefs will likely continue to utilize a three-man backfield committee.

  • Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Could be held out

Elliott, who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Green Bay, may be held out if there's any uncertainty about his health when he tests out his right knee in warmups, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Elliott participated in practice all week but only as a limited participant. Rapoport's report is in contrast to statements from both team owner Jerry Jones and backfield mate Tony Pollard, who both said earlier in the week that they thought Elliott would return from a one-game absence. Clarity on Elliott's status may not arrive until Dallas posts its inactive list 90 minutes ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Even if Elliott suits up, he could be subject to a lighter workload than usual.

  • 49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Activated, ready to play

The 49ers activated Mitchell (knee) from injured reserve Saturday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan indicated earlier in the week that Mitchell was on track to rejoin the 53-man roster, locking in the talented second-year back as the backup to Christian McCaffrey. It'll be interesting to see how the 49ers use Mitchell alongside the new Panthers import, as it's possible the duo could both see a plethora of carries with McCaffrey taking every opportunity on passing downs.

  • Chargers' Larry Rountree: Signs with Chargers

The Chargers signed Rountree to their active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game at San Francisco.

After joining the practice squad in September, Rountree will potentially make his 2022 debut in Week 10. With Isaiah Spiller and Sony Michel still in the fold behind Austin Ekeler though, Rountree does not have a clear path to touches right away.

  • Qadree Ollison RB | PIT

Cowboys' Qadree Ollison: Up from practice squad

Dallas elevated Ollison from its practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game at the Packers, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

With regular starting running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) questionable for Week 10, the Cowboys saw fit to activate Ollison from their practice squad for a second consecutive game. If Elliott plays though, Ollison probably won't see many touches Sunday, if any.

  • Jerome Ford RB | WAS

Browns' Jerome Ford: Back from IR

Cleveland activated Ford (ankle) from its injured reserve list Saturday ahead of Sunday's game at Miami, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

After sitting out the Browns' last four games, Ford appears to have fully recovered from the ankle injury he sustained in Week 4 versus Atlanta. The fifth-round rookie will likely resume his role as Cleveland's primary kick returner in Week 10.

  • Jordan Wilkins RB | CLE

Colts' Jordan Wilkins: Elevated from practice squad

Indianapolis elevated Wilkins from its practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game at the Raiders.

It will be the second consecutive week Wilkins is active for the Colts after he picked up 28 scrimmage yards on seven touches in Week 9. After Week 10, he will be eligible for only one more elevation from the practice squad before he would have to be signed to the team's active roster in order to suit up.

  • Kyren Williams RB | LAR

Rams' Kyren Williams: Comes off IR

The Rams activated Williams (ankle) from injured reserve Saturday.

Head coach Sean McVay made it known Williams would make his debut following a seven-game absence. The Notre Dame product couldn't have made his return at a better time as the Rams' running game has struggled recently. Expect Darrell Henderson and Cam Akers to both mix in alongside Williams, who figures to be the team's top pass-catching running back immediately.

  • Panthers' Raheem Blackshear: Gets six carries

Blackshear rushed six times for 32 yards in Thursday night's 25-15 win over the Falcons.

Blackshear ranked third among Carolina's tailbacks in snaps but garnered one more carry than backup Chuba Hubbard. Although Hubbard returning from an ankle injury gives the Panthers more quality depth behind starter D'Onta Foreman -- who rushed 31 times for 130 yards and a touchdown Thursday -- Blackshear remaining in the rotation helps preserve a bit of fantasy value.

  • 49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Returning for Week 10

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Mitchell (knee) will be activated from injured reserve before the 49ers' game Sunday against the Chargers, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

The 49ers may wait until Saturday to make their Week 10 transactions official, with Mitchell and three others expected to be reinstated from IR. There was a time not so long ago when Mitchell's return would have been a leading fantasy headline for the week, but he's likely looking at a limited change-of-pace role now that the 49ers have Christian McCaffrey. If nothing else, Mitchell is worth keeping on fantasy benches for what he might do in the event of a McCaffrey absence later this season.
