  • Cardinals' Keaontay Ingram: Gets five rushes Monday

Ingram notched five carries for 19 yards during Monday's 38-10 loss to the 49ers.

The Cardinals moved on from Eno Benjamin last week, effectively elevating Ingram to James Conner's direct backup. But with Conner able to handle a healthy majority of the snaps (55 of 71) and touches (16) Monday, Ingram was left with only a handful of opportunities on 18 offensive plays. While the carry count was the second-most of his young career, the 2022 sixth-round pick still is averaging just 2.5 YPC on his 19 rushes to date. Ingram thus doesn't hold much sway without Conner missing time.

  • Jordan Mason RB | MIN

49ers' Jordan Mason: Gets four carries in garbage time

Mason rushed four times for 14 yards in Sunday's 38-10 win over the Cardinals.

Mason was able to finally get some offensive run in garbage time after serving exclusively on special teams this season. The carries and yardage both represented new highs for the undrafted rookie. Mason will resume seeing the majority of his snaps on special teams when the 49ers take on the Saints on Sunday.

  • Jaylen Warren RB | PIT

Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Status in question for Monday

Coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Warren's (hamstring) availability Monday at Indianapolis is up in the air, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Warren was ruled out of this past Sunday's loss to the Bengals due to a hamstring injury, which isn't "significant," according to Tomlin. Still, Warren's practice reps seemingly will be capped when the Steelers take the practice field Thursday. If Warren is inhibited or sidelined Monday, Benny Snell would be the primary reserve running back behind Najee Harris.

  • Boston Scott RB | PIT

Eagles' Boston Scott: Touches ball five times

Scott carried the ball three times for eight yards and caught two passes for four more yards in Sunday's win over the Colts.

Scott received 13 offensive snaps compared to 11 for Kenneth Gainwell and out-touched his fellow running back by a five to one margin, though neither provided much fantasy value. If Scott starts to consistently see the field more frequently than Gainwell, he'd become the player more useful to roster as cover for a Miles Sanders injury, but he's gained a total of just 90 yards this season and found the end zone just once, so he's a long way from fantasy relevance at the moment.

  • Eagles' Kenneth Gainwell: Gains zero yards

Gainwell carried the ball once for zero yards and wasn't targeted with any passes in Sunday's win against Indianapolis.

Gainwell saw the field for just 11 offenses snaps, fewer even than fellow depth running back Boston Scott (13 snaps). Scott also received five touches compared to just one for Gainwell. Gainwell has now received just one carry in three of the last four weeks and hasn't carried the ball more than five times in any game this season.

  • Devine Ozigbo RB | DET

Devine Ozigbo: Will likely play in Week 12

Ozigbo will likely be elevated from Denver's practice squad and be a part of the running back rotation in Week 12, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Ozigbo is currently on the Broncos' practice squad, but the veteran running back will likely be called up and active for a Week 12 matchup against the Panthers. The 26-year-old would be in line to handle duties behind presumed starter Latavius Murray and Marlon Mack. Ozigbo's opportunity in Denver's backfield comes on the heels of Melvin Gordon being waived by the Broncos on Monday. Recent trade acquisition Chase Edmonds is also slated to miss time with a high right-ankle sprain. Despite head coach Nathaniel Hackett's claim that Ozigbo will be a part of the running back rotation in Week 12, he will be extremely difficult to trust for fantasy purposes with limited opportunities on a struggling offense.

  • Mike Boone RB | MIA

Broncos' Mike Boone: Could return after Week 12

Boone (ankle) could return from injured reserve following Week 12, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Boone is eligible to return from IR in Week 13 after recovering from an ankle injury suffered in Week 8. The veteran would be welcomed into a running back room that looks a bit different after the Broncos' recent moves. Denver waived Melvin Gordon on Monday, and their recent trade acquisition Chase Edmonds is slated to miss time with a high right-ankle sprain. One would expect Boone to carve out a role in this backfield behind Latavius Murray, who projects to be the starter going forward. Teammates Marlon Mack and practice-squad member Devine Ozigbo also figure to handle carries. Boone becomes an interesting add for fantasy managers looking to add depth to their roster, especially with the 27-year-old's pass-catching ability needed for a Broncos team that struggles to push the ball down the field.

  • Panthers' Raheem Blackshear: Gets two touches

Blackshear caught two of three targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 13-3 loss to the Ravens.

Blackshear played 11 offensive snaps but didn't get any carries behind D'Onta Foreman and Chuba Hubbard. He holds minimal value heading into Week 12's matchup versus the Broncos.

  • 49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Leads 49ers in rushing

Mitchell rushed the ball nine times for 59 yards in Monday's 38-10 win over Arizona.

Mitchell led the team in both rush attempts and yards while averaging an efficient 6.6 yards per attempt. All of those marks are deceiving however, as Mitchell had only one carry at halftime and saw the majority of his work when the game was a blowout and the outcome hardly in question. He remains the insurance to Christian McCaffrey, but Mitchell's volume on a weekly basis will be hard to rely upon.

  • James Conner RB | ARI

Cardinals' James Conner: Touchdown saves inefficient effort

Conner rushed the ball 14 times for 42 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 38-10 loss to the 49ers. He added two receptions on five targets for 12 yards.

Conner joined the rest of the Cardinals' offense by turning in a fairly abysmal performance. However, he salvaged his stat line with a two-yard touchdown plunge late in the second quarter. Otherwise, his effort was highlighted by inefficiency and mistakes -- highlighted by a drop early in the second quarter that led directly to San Francisco's second touchdown of the game. With Arizona's running back depth chart extremely thin, Conner is likely to see all the volume he can handle, though that may not lead to standout production on a struggling team.
