Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Still in concussion protocol
Mixon remains in the NFL's concussion protocol ahead of Wednesday's practice, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Mixon will need to clear the league's five-step protocol in order to be able to play Sunday against the Titans. If Mixon is unable to suit up this weekend, Samaje Perine would be on tap for an expanded role in the Cincinnati backfield.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB | KC
Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Slated to go on IR
Edwards-Helaire (ankle) is in line to be placed on IR, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Look for the move to be made official later Wednesday, with Edwards-Helaire now in line to miss at least four games with a high ankle sprain. In his absence, Isiah Pacheco is slated to lead the Chiefs' ground game, with Jerick McKinnon on hand to work in a complementary/change-of-pace role and Ronald Jones available in reserve.

Master Teague III RB | PIT
Master Teague: Signed by Steelers
Teague was signed to the Steelers' practice squad Wednesday.
Teague was waived by the Steelers following an injury settlement in August, but he will now return to the organization. The running back has yet to make his NFL debut after spending four seasons with Ohio State in college.

Justice Hill RB | BAL
Ravens' Justice Hill: Quiet in win
Hill rushed seven times for 30 yards and caught all three of his targets for eight yards in Sunday's 13-3 win over the Panthers.
Hill played 41 percent of the Ravens' offensive snaps in the contest, while fellow running back Kenyan Drake played 51 percent of snaps. With Gus Edwards (hamstring/knee) sidelined, Hill saw a bump in his usage. However, the 25-year-old will likely see his role diminish when both Edwards and J.K. Dobbins (knee) make their way back on the field. Hill will likely be difficult to trust when the Ravens visit the Jaguars in Week 12.

Nyheim Miller-Hines RB | NO
Bills' Nyheim Hines: Mostly limited to return duties
Hines rushed once for negative-8 yards and did not bring in his only target in the Bills' Week 11 win over the Browns in Detroit. He also gained 37 yards on two punt returns and 76 yards on three kickoff returns.
Hines made an impact as a kick returner in the contest, but that doesn't translate to production in most fantasy leagues. While the veteran running back did see a slight uptick in snaps (10) in comparison to his first two games with Buffalo, he generated negative fantasy points since his only carry resulted in an eight-yard loss. Initial optimism about Hines' potential in Buffalo's prolific offense has all but disappeared now that it's clear he's primarily being viewed as a special-teams contributor.

Jerick McKinnon RB | KC
Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon: Touches on pace, less productive
McKinnon tallied six rushes for 24 yards and gathered in his only target for zero yards during Sunday's 30-27 win over the Chargers.
While McKinnon's seven touches equaled the seven he saw last week, only one came via reception for no yardage. However, he could be in line for an expanded role behind Isiah Pacheco, given the news that Clyde Edwards-Helaire suffered a high-ankle sprain during Sunday's game. McKinnon's six totes were his most since week five versus the Raiders.

Chase Edmonds RB | WAS
Broncos' Chase Edmonds: Heads to injured reserve
The Broncos placed Edmonds (ankle) on injured reserve Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Edmonds was unable to return to this past Sunday's overtime loss to the Raiders after getting injured, and he eventually was diagnosed with a high right-ankle sprain. On Monday, coach Nathaniel Hackett told Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com that Edmonds was slated to miss "a lot of time," which will be at least four games now that he resides on IR. After the Broncos waived Melvin Gordon on Monday, Latavius Murray and Marlon Mack are the only running backs on the active roster, while Devine Ozigbo and Tyreik McAllister are candidates to be elevated from the practice squad.

Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Melvin Gordon: Clears waivers Tuesday
Gordon went unclaimed on waivers Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
The Broncos cut ties with Gordon on Monday after two-and-a-half seasons with the team. While he racked up at least 900 rushing yards at a nearly 4.6-YPC clip in both of the last two campaigns, he fell back to 3.5 yards per carry this year. Gordon's issues with fumbles persisted, too, as he finished his Denver tenure with 12 (nine lost) in 37 appearances. Now that he's through waivers, the 29-year-old is free to sign with any organization.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Stays limited Tuesday
Elliott (knee) practiced in a limited fashion Tuesday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Elliott has maintained limited listings on back-to-back injury reports, which is no surprise given the Cowboys are on a short week. The running back played for the first time since Week 7 this past Sunday at Minnesota, tallying 16 touches for 47 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs on a 30 percent share of the snaps in a 40-3 rout. Meanwhile, Tony Pollard had 21 touches for 189 total yards and two receiving scores while seeing 53 percent of the offensive plays. Assuming Elliott is able to suit up Thursday versus the Giants, he should be afforded his fair share of looks alongside Pollard out of Dallas' backfield.

Jonathan Ward RB | NE
Jonathan Ward: Let go Tuesday
Ward (hamstring) was waived from injured reserve by the Cardinals on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Ward was placed on IR on Oct. 12 after suffering a hamstring injury in a Week 5 loss to the Cardinals. Pelissero notes that Ward is fully healthy now and could play if anyone decides to claim him or call after he clears waivers.
