  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Salvages Thanksgiving with TD

Barkley carried the ball 11 times for 39 yards and a touchdown and caught four of six targets for 13 yards in Thursday's 28-20 loss to the Cowboys.

His one-yard TD plunge midway through the second quarter gave the Giants a 10-7 lead, but the game was almost all Cowboys after halftime. The touchdown was Barkley's seventh rushing score of the year, his highest total since he racked up 11 as a rookie in 2018, and he's just eight rushing yards shy of his third career 1,000-yard campaign -- a mark he'll certainly reach in Week 13 against the Commanders.

  • Bills' Devin Singletary: Productive Thanksgiving performance

Singletary carried the ball 14 times for 72 yards and caught his only target for eight yards in Thursday's 28-25 win over the Lions.

While Josh Allen wound up leading the Bills in rushing with 78 yards, Singletary was at least efficient with his touches. The running back has produced at least 80 combined yards in six of the last nine games, putting him on pace for a career high in yards from scrimmage heading into a tough Week 13 clash with the Patriots.

  • J.J. Taylor RB | HOU

J.J. Taylor: Joins New England's practice squad

The Patriots have signed Taylor to their practice squad.

Taylor was waived by the Patriots earlier this week, but he's back on the team's practice squad and is a candidate to be elevated to the active roster the next time injuries hit New England's backfield. In the only game he's seen action in this season, Taylor carried 10 times for nine yards and added one reception for eight yards in a Week 9 win over the Colts.

  • Lions' Jamaal Williams: Another rushing touchdown

Williams rushed 18 times for 66 yards with one touchdown and one lost fumble during Thursday's 28-25 loss to the Bills.

Williams continued to handle the lion's share of work out of the backfield and extended his league-leading touchdown total (13) along the way. With Detroit seemingly keen on keeping D'Andre Swift as fresh as possible going forward, Williams should continue to handle a heavy workload down the stretch, though one that may not involve much heavy lifting as a receiver given Swift's proficiency in that area. Up next is a middling Week 13 matchup against a Jaguars defense allowing the eighth-fewest yards per carry (4.2) and the 11th-fewest rushing touchdowns (nine) in 2022.

  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: DNP due to illness

Kamara was absent from Thursday's session due to an illness, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Kamara wasn't spotted at the media-access portion of the Saints' second practice of Week 12, and the reason for the DNP now is known. He doesn't have much time to get past the bug ahead of Sunday's game at San Francisco, but he at least has one more opportunity to participate in drills Friday before the team potentially gives him a designation. With Mark Ingram (knee) back on the field as limited this week, he could be New Orleans' lead runner Sunday if Kamara is at all inhibited.

  • Hassan Haskins RB | LAC

Titans' Hassan Haskins: Added to injury report

Haskins (hip) was listed as limited on Thursday's estimated injury report, Ben Arthur of FoxSports.com reports.

Haskins was not on the injury report Wednesday, and his late-week addition casts some doubt on his status for Sunday's game against the Bengals. If Haskins is unable to play, the Titans may have to promote Julius Chestnut from the practice squad.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Stays limited Thursday

Jones (shin/glute) was limited at Thursday's practice.

Jones continues to deal with a shin injury, but this week a glute issue also is being listed next to it, inhibiting his reps for a second session in a row. Friday's practice report could clear up his status entering the weekend, but if he's questionable for Sunday's game at Philadelphia, an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff doesn't provide many places to turn for RB help if he's limited or out. Currently, AJ Dillon is the only other backfield option on the Packers' active roster.

  • Chris Evans RB | CIN

Bengals' Chris Evans: Listed as full participant

Evans (knee) was listed as a full participant on Thursday's practice report, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.

Evans missed last week's win over the Steelers due to a knee injury and was limited at practice Wednesday, but he appears to be back to full health ahead of Sunday's game in Tennessee. Joe Mixon is in the league's concussion protocol, so it's possible Evans will take on a starting role in Week 12.

  • Joe Mixon RB | HOU

Bengals' Joe Mixon: Misses another practice

Mixon (concussion) remained sidelined at practice Thursday.

Following back-to-back missed sessions, Mixon has one more chance to take the practice field ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans. Friday's injury report will reveal whether the running back has a chance to suit up this weekend, but if Mixon is unable to gain clearance to face Tennessee, Samaje Perine would be in line to lead Cincinnati's Week 12 backfield, with Chris Evans and Trayveon Williams also on hand.

  • Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Misses another practice

Mostert (knee) didn't practice Thursday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.

Back-to-back DNPs cloud Mostert's status for Sunday's game against the Texans, but a return to drills Friday in any capacity would give the running back a chance to suit up this weekend. If Mostert is out or limited, Salvon Ahmed and Myles Gaskin would be candidates to see added backfield work Week 12 behind Jeff Wilson.
