  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Limited practice Wednesday

Jacobs (quadriceps/hand) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.

Jacobs managed quad and calf issues during Week 14 prep and is now dealing with a hand injury that he suffered in the Raiders' 17-16 loss to the Rams last Thursday. That said, the Raiders are expecting Jacobs to be ready to play against the Patriots this weekend. Unless he practices fully Thursday or Friday, however, Jacobs will likely approach the contest with an injury designation.

  • Damien Harris RB | BUF

Patriots' Damien Harris: Back at practice

Harris (thigh) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

After having missed two straight games, Harris seems to be trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's contest against the Raiders. His status gains added import this week, with fellow running back Rhamondre Stevenson absent from Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury and uncertain to be available in Las Vegas.

  • Jeff Wilson RB | MIA

Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Sits out walk-through session

Wilson (hip) was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's walk-through practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

After having been listed as a non-participant on both of the Dolphins' first two practice reports of Week 15, Wilson looks to be trending toward sitting out Saturday's game against the Bills. More clarity on his status will come following the release of Thursday's practice report, but if Wilson isn't able to face Buffalo, Raheem Mostert would have the lead-back role to himself.

  • Dameon Pierce RB | PHI

Texans' Dameon Pierce: Sits out practice

    Pierce (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday.

Brooks Kubena and Jonathan Alexander of the Houston Chronicle previously reported that Pierce is dealing with a high-ankle sprain that will likely prevent him from playing in Sunday's game against the Chiefs, so his absence from the Texans' first Week 15 practice hardly comes as a surprise. Rather than suiting up this Sunday, Pierce may do well just to make it back for the Texans' Week 16 game at Tennessee, given that other reports have suggested he could be sidelined for two or three weeks. In any case, expect the Texans to formally rule Pierce out for Sunday's game by week's end, setting the stage for Rex Burkhead and Dare Ogunbowale to lead the Houston backfield for at least one contest.

  • Hassan Haskins RB | LAC

Titans' Hassan Haskins: Logs full session Wednesday

Haskins (hip) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice, Ben Arthur of FoxSports.com reports.

Haskins missed back-to-back games due to a hip issue, but he's logged his first full practice since suffering the injury and is trending toward suiting up Sunday against the Chargers. If available, the rookie fourth-round pick will presumably reprise his role as the team's primary kick returner and could operate as the No. 2 back behind Derrick Henry, as Dontrell Hilliard (neck) has already been ruled out for Week 15.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Healthy for Week 15

Barkley was a full practice participant Wednesday and isn't listed on the Giants' Week 15 injury report, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

Barkley played only 20 snaps in Sunday's 48-22 loss to the Eagles, with a neck injury and the blowout nature of the game both being factors in his unusually limited role (11 touches for 48 yards on a 31 percent snap share). Prior to that, he handled at least 42 snaps and 15 touches in each of the Giants' other 12 games. There's a good chance Barkley gets back to that kind of workload in a crucial game for two wild-card hopefuls this Sunday at Washington.

  • James Cook RB | BUF

Bills' James Cook: Struggles to find open running room

Cook carried four times for six yards and added a nine-yard reception in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Jets.

Though he and starter Devin Singletary worked in a relatively even timeshare for the second week in a row, Cook wasn't able to build on his breakthrough Week 13 outing against the Patriots, during which the rookie totaled 105 yards from scrimmage on 20 touches. Singletary was the more productive of the two backs versus the Jets (eight carries for 39 yards, one catch for four yards), but not so much so that it will guarantee him the majority of the snaps moving forward. Even if Cook sees his 41 percent snap share from Week 14 tail off a bit in another divisional game this Sunday against the Dolphins, he should at least remain ahead of trade-deadline pickup Nyheim Hines in the Bills' backfield pecking order.

  • Saints' Dwayne Washington: Dealing with illness

Washington didn't practice Wednesday due to an illness, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Washington landed on the injury report Wednesday as a non-participant due to an illness. The severity of the aliment remains unclear, but the backup running back will have two more opportunities to practice before the Saints need to make a decision on his status for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

  • Bills' Nyheim Hines: Maintains limited role

Hines carried once for three yards and recorded a four-yard reception in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Jets.

After logging 21 snaps a week earlier in the Bills' 14-point win over the Patriots, Hines saw his playing time drop off a bit in a more competitive Week 14 contest. He took the field for nine snaps on offense, well behind starter Devin Singletary (27) and ascending rookie James Cook (22). Though Cook was held to 15 total yards on five touches against the Jets, his strong performances in recent weeks should be enough to keep him ahead of Hines on the depth chart for the foreseeable future.

  • Trey Sermon RB | PIT

Eagles' Trey Sermon: Clear of injury report

Sermon isn't listed on the Eagles' initial injury report Wednesday.

Sermon was inactive for Week 14 due to an illness, but he's since cleared the aliment and appears likely to suit up Sunday against Minnesota. However, the second-year running back hasn't played in a game since Week 5, so it's unlikely he sees the field in Week 15.
