  • Dameon Pierce RB | PHI

Texans' Dameon Pierce: Hitting injured reserve

The Texans placed Pierce (ankle) on injured reserve Saturday, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Pierce sustained a high-ankle sprain last Sunday at Dallas, and while there was an initial belief that he'd be sidelined for just 1-to-2 weeks, the tide has changed, and he'll now miss the final four games of the campaign. Operating as Houston's lead running back as a rookie fourth-round pick this year, he'll cap it with 220 carries for 939 yards (4.3 YPC) and four touchdowns and 30 catches (on 39 targets) for 165 yards and one more score in 13 appearances.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Clear for Monday

Jones (ankle) doesn't have a designation for Monday's game against the Rams, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

Jones' practice reps were capped during the entirety of Week 15 prep, but the ankle issue that has lingered since Week 9 won't keep him from suiting up on game day. He'll be facing an L.A. defense without the services of Aaron Donald (ankle), so Jones will have more room to operate while working in tandem with AJ Dillon out of Green Bay's backfield.

  • Kenyan Drake RB | GB

    Ravens' Kenyan Drake: Inactive Saturday

Drake is inactive for Saturday's game against the Browns, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Drake is the odd man out in the Ravens' backfield in Week 15, which leaves J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill to handle the team's backfield duties versus Cleveland.

  • Titans' Julius Chestnut: Signs with active roster

Tennessee signed Chestnut to its active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game at the Chargers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

With fellow reserve running back Dontrell Hilliard (neck) landing on the injured reserve list Saturday, Tennessee saw fit to bring Chestnut on board to provide some depth at tailback. The rookie undrafted free agent has taken five carries for 13 yards and caught two passes for eight yards through two games this season.

  • Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Won't return Saturday

Taylor (ankle) won't return to Saturday's game against the Vikings, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

With Taylor sidelined for the rest of the contest, Deon Jackson and Zack Moss are now slated to handle the Colts' backfield touches versus Minnesota. Taylor will now target a potential return to action when Indianapolis faces the Chargers in Week 16, a week from Monday.

  • Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Exits Saturday's game

Taylor was forced out of Saturday's game against the Vikings with a right ankle injury, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Prior to his exit, Taylor caught one pass for 13 yards. In his absence, Zack Moss and Deon Jackson are next up for the Colts' backfield touches.

  • Damien Harris RB | BUF

Patriots' Damien Harris: Won't play Sunday

Harris (thigh) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Fellow running back Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) remains listed as questionable after returning to a limited practice Friday, but with Harris out, rookies Pierre Strong and Kevin Harris are candidates to log added Week 15 snaps, especially if Stevenson ends up being sidelined or limited Sunday. Moreover, it's possible that J.J. Taylor could be elevated from the team's practice squad. Damien Harris will now target a potential return to action a week from Saturday against the Bengals.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Plans to play Sunday

Jacobs (hand/quadriceps), who is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots, plans to play in the contest, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

The running back, who was limited in practice this past week, injured his right pinkie finger during the Raiders' Week 14 loss to the Rams. Assuming he's active ahead of Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff, Jacobs said that his plan to manage the pinkie issue is to "probably cast it a little bit, wrap it up and then see how it goes from there." To date, Jacobs has maintained a high-volume role while leading the Raiders' backfield, and he'll likely take on as much work as he can handle Sunday, with his potential workload hinging on how his finger responds to in-game contact. If Jacobs ends up limited at all or suffers any setbacks versus New England, Ameer Abdullah and Zamir White would be candidates to log added snaps.

  • Travis Homer RB | PIT

Seahawks' Travis Homer: Catches four passes in loss

Homer rushed once for five yards and caught all four of his targets for 25 yards in Thursday's 21-13 loss to the 49ers.

Rookie running back Kenneth Walker returned from an ankle injury and handled 16 touches, and Homer was limited to just 15 snaps. However, he still managed to make an impact with his highest catch total since Week 2, which was coincidently also against the 49ers. Homer will continue to play second fiddle to Walker for the remainder of the season, so his fantasy value will be unreliable.

  • Godwin Igwebuike: Reverts to practice squad

Igwebuike reverted to the Seahawks' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Igwebuike was elevated to the active roster ahead of Thursday's 21-13 loss to the 49ers and suited up for the second consecutive game. He played exclusively on special teams and racked up 83 yards on kick returns. Igwebuike also chipped in an assisted tackle on kick coverage.
