  • Mohamed Ibrahim: Back to practice squad

Ibrahim (hip) reverted to the Lions' practice squad Monday.

Ibrahim exited Sunday's 38-6 loss to the Ravens on a cart and subsequently underwent hip surgery. Prior to his exit, he logged six snaps on special teams, including the 22-yard kick return he got hurt on. The running back now appears likely to be placed on Detroit's practice squad injured list.

  • Cardinals' Damien Williams: Back to practice squad

Williams reverted to the Cardinals' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

The 31-year-old continues his roster dance, getting activated on game days before heading back to the taxi squad the following day. In Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Seahawks, Williams rushed one time for two yards on 12 offensive snaps as Arizona's distant RB2 behind Emari Demercado.

  • 49ers' Tyrion Davis-Price: Inactive Monday

Davis-Price (coach's decision) is again listed as inactive for Monday's matchup with the Vikings, Lindsey Pallares reports.

Aside from seeing seven offensive snaps in Week 5, Davis-Price has primarily been a healthy scratch all season, and Monday is no different. His next chance to suit up will come in Week 8 versus the Bengals.

  • 49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Suiting up Monday

McCaffrey (oblique) is active for Monday's game in Minnesota, Lindsey Pallares of the 49ers' official site reports.

McCaffrey made an early departure from the 49ers' Week 6 loss at Cleveland due to an oblique injury, which contained him to just one limited practice during Week 7 prep. In the meantime, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that McCaffrey felt "great" following Saturday's session, and the running back was in line to suit up Monday. How much work McCaffrey is able to handle may come down to pain tolerance, but he'll be looking to extend his touchdown streak to 13 contests (16 counting the postseason) against a Vikings defense that has allowed the second-fewest TDs (two) to opposing RBs in six games this season.

  • Jerome Ford RB | WAS

Browns' Jerome Ford: Slated to miss time with ankle injury

Ford is reportedly dealing with what Adam Schefter of ESPN describes as a low grade, high right-ankle sprain that is expected to sideline the running back for one-to-two weeks.

The team has yet to confirm Ford's injury, but it looks like Ford is trending toward missing Sunday's road game against the Seahawks. If that's the case, Kareem Hunt and Pierre Strong would be in line to lead the Browns' Week 8 backfield. Prior to exiting Sunday's 39-38 win over the Colts, Ford had carried 11 times for 74 yards and a TD and caught two of his four targets for 20 yards.

  • Jordan Mims RB | SF

Jordan Mims: Latches back on with New Orleans

The Saints signed Mims to their practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Mims had been bouncing back and forth from New Orleans' active roster and practice squad due to injuries and suspensions at running back early in the season. The undrafted rookie out of Fresno State appeared in one game, playing four special-teams snaps.

  • Deon Jackson RB | DET

    Deon Jackson: Cut by Cleveland

Jackson was waived by the Browns on Monday, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.

If Jackson goes unclaimed, he will be a candidate to land back on the Browns' practice squad. He's suited up for three games this season between his time with the Colts and Browns, primarily as a depth option in the backfield and a special-teams contributor. He saw seven snaps (23 percent) in the latter department in Sunday's game versus Indianapolis.

  • Zach Evans RB | NYJ

Rams' Zach Evans: No offensive snaps

Evans took four snaps on special teams during Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Steelers.

The Rams chose to lean on Royce Freeman (12-66-0) and Darrell Henderson (18-61-1) to spearhead the rushing attack, while Evans made only a few appearances on special teams and never saw a snap on offense. The sixth-round rookie will likely have even more competition for playing time next week, as Myles Gaskin, who just signed with the Rams on Tuesday, was inactive against Pittsburgh. It's hard to see a viable role in the short term for Evans with the glut of backs added to the roster, and a matchup against a Cowboys defense that just held Austin Ekeler and the Chargers to 53 yards rushing in Week 6 doesn't inspire confidence in a sudden breakout performance.

  • Chase Edmonds RB | WAS

Buccaneers' Chase Edmonds: Designated to return from IR

The Bucs designated Edmonds (knee) to return from injured reserve Monday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Edmonds went on injured reserve with a sprained MCL after Week 2 but has missed the required four games, and his designation to return opens his 21-day practice window. The 27-year-old hasn't been much of an on-field factor since leaving Arizona following the 2021 season. He recorded four carries for 20 yards and wasn't targeted in two games prior to being injured earlier this year. Edmonds may be on the cusp of returning to action Thursday in Buffalo after being listed as a full participant on Monday's injury report.

  • Saints' Kendre Miller: Reps capped by shoulder injury

Miller was tending to shoulder soreness prior to Thursday's game versus Jacksonville, Brooke Kirchhofer of NOF Network reports.

Miller played just three offensive snaps in New Orleans' loss versus the Jaguars in Week 7, and that he was nursing an injury may at least partially explain why. Barring a setback, he should see more playing time Sunday at Indianapolis, but that still doesn't mean he'll be a reliable fantasy contributor.
