Keenum (coach's decision) is inactive for Saturday's game against the Browns, Drew Dougherty of the Texans' official site reports.

As expected, Keenum will serve as the Texans' emergency third quarterback in the team's wild-card affair. The 35-year-old will only be able to enter Saturday's game if both C.J. Stroud and Davis Mills leave with injuries.

Garoppolo completed 110 of 169 pass attempts for 1,205 yards and seven touchdowns to nine interceptions across seven games in his first season as a Raider. He also rushed 20 times for 39 yards and one lost fumble.

Garoppolo, who'd been demoted from the starting quarterback role by interim head coach Antonio Pierce after a dismal Week 8 performance against the Lions, made a brief appearance in the Raiders' Week 18 win over the Broncos when rookie Aidan O'Connell exited the contest for three snaps with a finger injury. Garoppolo was sacked on a third down to end his lone drive in three-and-out fashion, which symbolized his disappointing 2023 campaign. While the Raiders are slated to fill their permanent general manager and head coaching positions in 2024, Garoppolo could be on the move to another franchise for a fresh start at 32 years old.

Rudolph and the Steelers will play their wild-card matchup against the Bills on Monday at 4:30 p.m. ET after the game was postponed Saturday due to extreme weather conditions.

It doesn't appear as if Monday's conditions in Buffalo will be all that much better from a weather perspective, though the high gusts will be down a bit and fans attending the game should at least be out of harm's way for the most part. With the weather still a factor, expect Rudolph and the Steelers to likely play it safe and rely heavily on the duo of Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren on the ground, a formula that's been working in the Steelers' last three games with Rudolph at the helm, all resulting in wins.

Due to a snowstorm in Buffalo, Allen and the Bills will now meet the Steelers on Monday afternoon instead of Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

It's a bizarre situation where there will now be two playoff games on a Monday, but the league couldn't risk having a game at the regularly scheduled time due to emergency conditions in Buffalo. The development might actually benefit those using players in the passing game for either team, as the snow and high winds may have been so nasty Sunday that any sort of successful attack through the air would have been very difficult to achieve. That will still be a factor come Monday, but with the winds expected to be down a bit, each team may be able to at least pass the ball without it looking like a cartoon, for those that may recall the Bills-Patriots primetime game in December of 2021.

Peterman served as the third-string quarterback for the Bears in 2023, playing just four snaps. He did not attempt a pass during the 2023 season.

Peterman finished his sixth NFL season. He's played two years each with Buffalo, Las Vegas and Chicago. Over the last four years, he's attempted just 30 passes. He'll head into free agency in the hope of finding a role as a backup quarterback.

Hurts (right finger) practiced fully Friday.

Hurts was knocked out of this past Sunday's loss at the Giants before halftime due to a dislocated right middle finger, yielding quarterback duties to backup Marcus Mariota for the rest of the contest. Fortunately for Hurts, X-rays came back negative afterward, and he was considered day-to-day, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. On both Thursday and Friday, Hurts wore a glove on his right hand, and in the latter practice, he was seen attempting multiple passes, according to Brooks Kubena of The Athletic. With his progression from limited to open the week of prep to all activity Friday, Hurts appears to be in the clear as the Eagles prepare for Monday's wild-card game in Tampa Bay.

Mayfield (ankle/ribs) was limited at Friday's practice.

Mayfield clearly was banged up but continued to play through the pain during this past Sunday's 9-0 win at Carolina, logging all 65 snaps on offense in the process. Upon the Buccaneers posting their first practice report of the week Thursday, he was listed as a non-participant due to ankle and rib injuries. One day later, though, Mayfield mixed back into some drills, seemingly putting him on a path to be available in the wild-card round. Saturday's injury report will reveal whether or not he heads into Monday's game versus the Eagles with a designation or cleared to suit up.

Rush (illness) is questionable for Sunday's game versus the Packers, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.

The specifics of Rush's ailment aren't known at this point, but his availability for the wild-card round is now in doubt. If he can't suit up Sunday, 2021 first-rounder Trey Lance would probably step in as the primary backup to Dak Prescott.

Dalton finished the regular season with 34 completions on 58 attempts for 361 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in three games.

Dalton's passing production all came in Week 3 while starting in place of the injured Bryce Young. Although the Panthers lost that game, it was their highest output in passing yardage all season. At 36 years old, Dalton remains under contract for next season, when he could remain one of the league's best backups while Young attempts to advance his development under a new coaching staff.

Hall appeared in three games games during the 2023 season, completing 13 of 20 passes (65 percent) for 168 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception while adding six carries for 14 scoreless yards.

The fifth-round rookie started Week 9 after Kirk Cousins suffered a season-ending torn Achilles' tendon Week 8. Hall lasted all of 11 offensive snaps versus Atlanta before he was concussed and replaced by trade pickup Joshua Dobbs. Dobbs then started the next four games before giving way to Nick Mullens. Coach Kevin O'Connell, trying to find an offensive spark, went back to Hall as the Week 17 starter but pulled him at halftime against the Packers after he went just 5-for-10 passing for 67 yards and one interception with a lost fumble. Hall likely won't be guaranteed a spot on the 53-man roster next season after his lackluster first season as a pro. He'll be competing for a backup job.
