Love (knee) remains listed as questionable but isn't expected to play in Sunday's game against Tennessee, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Love was a limited practice participant all week and was deemed questionable Friday upon the release of the Packers' final injury report, with head coach Matt LaFleur indicating that the quarterback could be a game-time decision. However, Pelissero reports that while Love is "getting closer" to being able to return, he'll likely be held out for a second straight contest. If that is indeed the case, Malik Willis will get another start, with Sean Clifford serving as his backup.

Young has received trade interest from several teams despite Panthers coach Dave Canales saying the organization doesn't intend to move the second-year quarterback, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Young has struggled thus far in 2024, completing just 31 of 56 passes for 245 yards and a 0:3 TD:INT while rushing five times for 18 yards and a touchdown through two games (both losses). Carolina decided to bench Young for Week 3 in favor of veteran Andy Dalton in hope of getting the team's offense going, but Canales said this week that trading the 23-year-old is not currently a consideration for the Panthers. Still, it's not surprising that other organizations have reached out to gauge Young's availability, as the Alabama product has undeniable talent and pedigree as the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Dolphins signed Boyle off the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Boyle signed with the Dolphins' practice squad Aug. 29 after failing to make the Texans' 53-man roster at the conclusion of training camp. He'll join Miami's active roster and is expected to serve as the emergency quarterback Sunday against the Seahawks behind starter Skylar Thompson and backup Tyler Huntley.

Hill (chest) has been downgraded to doubtful for Sunday's matchup against the Eagles, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.

Hill was hospitalized last week due to a chest injury, so it would have been a bit surprising for the versatile player to be available the following week. Assuming the veteran doesn't play, both Juwan Johnson and Foster Moreau figure to see plenty of opportunities against a porous Eagles defense.

Clifford was elevated to the Packers' active roster Saturday, Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com reports.

The elevation does not preclude a status update for Jordan Love, who practiced all week and is listed as questionable (knee) for Sunday's matchup against the Titans. In the event Love does get ruled out, Clifford would be the backup to Malik Willis, who performed well enough in the Week 2 win over the Colts.

Herbert, who is reportedly dealing with a high-ankle sprain, will test out his ankle before Sunday's contest and could play against the Steelers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

It's better than saying Herbert outright won't play, but the reported cadence doesn't sound too much different than what was already expected for the Pro Bowl quarterback after Herbert revealed he was dealing with a right high-ankle sprain earlier this week. Given the Chargers' run heavy approach, it's entirely possible the team will still have Herbert operate as the quarterback without putting his injured ankle at significant risk dropping back to pass repeatedly, but should the pre-game warmup reveal any struggles, it's unclear if the team will go with Easton Stick or Taylor Heinicke, who was acquired at the end of the preseason, as the backup QB.

Wilson (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers after being limited in practice this week, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Though Wilson continues to progress, noting that he's "definitely gaining ground" as he recovers from a calf injury, Justin Fields is trending toward making a third straight start at quarterback for the Steelers this weekend. Wilson has served as the team's inactive emergency third quarterback in both of Pittsburgh's first two contests, with Kyle Allen having backed up Fields thus far.

Herbert (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh.

Herbert told Kris Rhim of ESPN.com on Friday that the injury he sustained during the Chargers' Week 2 win in Carolina is a high right-ankle sprain, which didn't allow him to practice until Thursday. During that session, he was spotted with a heavy tape job on his right ankle, per Rhim. Herbert also relayed Friday that it's "yet to be decided" whether he'll be able to play Sunday, so if the quarterback ultimately can't go, Easton Stick would get the call under center for Los Angeles.

Herbert (ankle) said Friday that it's "yet to be decided" if he'll play Sunday at Pittsburgh, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports. Additionally, Herbert relayed that he's dealing with a high right-ankle sprain.

Herbert played all 69 offensive snaps during the Chargers' Week 2 win at Carolina, but afterward he underwent X-rays on his right leg, which were returned negative. He eventually was diagnosed with a generic ankle injury and didn't return to practice until Thursday, when he was limited. During that session, Herbert's right ankle was heavily taped, per Rhim, and now that the nature of the issue has been confirmed by the quarterback, it's no surprise he hasn't taken many practice reps this week. The Chargers will reveal a Week 3 game designation later Friday, with Easton Stick on hand to start if Herbert is unable to play.
