Texans quarterback Case Keenum proved in Week 9 that his strong debut against the Chiefs was no fluke. The undrafted second-year pro hit 20 of 34 throws for 350 yards and three touchdowns, all to Andre Johnson, in the 27-24 loss to the Colts.

Keenum hurt Indy on bootlegs and rollouts, and he ran for 26 yards on three carries. He led his team into position for a tying field goal, but it missed left at the buzzer. For the second straight game he did not throw an interception. 

Keenum started fast, scrambling and hitting DeVier Posey for 11 yards on the opening drive. On the next play he faked a handoff and found Johnson behind the defense for a 62-yard score. Keenum hooked up with Johnson for two more first-half touchdowns.

After posting a 123.4 passer rating, Keenum heads into Week 10 at Arizona with momentum.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson had an up-and-down performance during Sunday's overtime win over the Buccaneers in Week 9.

Wilson was picked off for the second time this season during his first offensive possession of the game. He bounced back with a 16-yard touchdown strike to Jermaine Kearse late in the second quarter to cut the deficit to 14 points. He was held to only 28 passing yards in the first half.

Wilson got back on track in the second half, as he scrambled out of the pocket for a 10-yard touchdown scamper in the third quarter. Wilson, who was picked off by Keith Tandy earlier in the quarter, threw a dart to Doug Baldwin for a 10-yard touchdown with just under two minutes remaining in the game to send it to over time.

Wilson completed 19 of 26 passes for 217 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in a 27-24 win in overtime. He finished the game with a 91.3 passer rating. He also rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown on six attempts.

Wilson has 15 touchdowns and six interceptions. He will travel to Atlanta for a Week 10 showdown against the Falcons. He threw for 385 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, and rushed for 60 yards on seven carries in his previous meeting against the Falcons during the playoffs last season.

Eagles quarterback Matt Barkley saw some time during mop-up duty against the Raiders.

Barkley came in for Nick Foles with 9:23 left to play. He led two drives, but went three and out on both drives. Barkley finished the game 2 of 3, with 13 yards. He knelt twice to finish the game on his third drive. 

Barkley will take on the Packers Week 10.

Raiders rookie quarterback Matthew McGloin threw a pass in an NFL regular-season game for the first time in his career during a 49-20 loss Week 9 vs. Philadelphia. McGloin came off the bench in the fourth quarter after starter Terrelle Pryor suffered a knee injury.

McGloin completed 7 of 15 passes for 87 yards. He had a few throws into the end zone on the two offensive drives he led in the fourth quarter, but his best chance came on a 2-yard pass to Denarius Moore, who caught the football before a defender stripped him of the score.

The Giants are back in action Week 10 at N.Y. Giants. The severity of Pryor's knee injury isn't yet known.

The Jets did not need a big performance from rookie quarterback Geno Smith to pull off a 26-20 upset win Week 9 vs. New Orleans. Smith completed 8 of 19 passes for 115 yards, while adding six carries for 18 yards and one touchdown.

Smith completed 6 of 13 passes for 70 yards by halftime. His touchdown came on a 3-yard run with 37 seconds left in the first half, which gave New York a 20-14 lead. Smith faked a handoff and started to run toward the right pylon before cutting back and running in for the score.

Smith's best chance for a passing touchdown came on consecutive plays from the 3-yard line in the second quarter. However, passes intended for Zach Sudfeld and Greg Salas fell incomplete before Nick Folk finished off the scoring drive with a 21-yard field goal.

Smith hasn't thrown a touchdown pass in two straight games. However, he managed to avoid a turnover Sunday for just the second time in nine games. The Jets are on a bye Week 10 before returning to action Week 11 at Buffalo.

Bills quarterback Jeff Tuel completed 18-of-39 passes for 229 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-13 loss to the Chiefs. Tuel was intercepted twice, with one of the picks going back 100 yards for a touchdown. He rushed three times for 17 yards. 

Tuel had a solid first quarter, finishing with 112 yards and a touchdown, but he began overthrowing his receivers (notably Scott Chandler, several times) and eventually ran out of steam. 

EJ Manuel may be back for the team's Week 10 game against the Steelers, so there is no guarantee that Tuel will see another start this season. 

Bills quarterback Thad Lewis (ribs) was ruled inactive for Week 9 vs. Kansas City. Jeff Tuel drew the start in place of Lewis, who was listed as doubtful after practicing in a limited capacity Friday.

The Chargers listed several healthy inactive players for the Week 9 game in Washington Sunday. Those players are as follows: Third-string QB Brad Sorensen, cornerback Crezdon Butler, safety Brandon Taylor and nose tackle Kwame Geathers.

Bills quarterback Thad Lewis is unlikely to play Sunday against the Bills in Week 9. The Bills have named Jeff Tuel the starting quarterback and Matt Flynn as the No. 2 quarterback, according to CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason la Canfora Saturday.

Lewis was originally listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report due to a rib injury. Tuel will make his first career start.
