  • Lions QB Matthew Stafford practices fully Wednesday

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford practiced fully Wednesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

The Lions have broadcast the belief that Stafford will suit up Sunday versus the Broncos, according to MLive.com, and a full practice Wednesday supports that thought process. Even so, his rib injury will be something to keep in mind this week due to the potential for a setback, especially against a fearsome front seven.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill fully participates in Wednesday's practice

Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) practiced fully on Wednesday, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

Tannehill's full practice participation Wednesday confirms that he is on track to suit up Sunday against the Bills, in the absence of any setbacks at the week continues.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill participates in Wednesday's practice

Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) practiced Wednesday, the Palm Beach Post reports.

We'll have to see if Tannehill is listed as a full participant or a limited one, but his presence on the field Wednesday supports the notion that he will be fine for Sunday's game against the Bills.

  • Lions QB Matthew Stafford (ribs) led practice Monday

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford (ribs) led the offense at Monday's walkthrough, MLive.com reports.

In an interview afterward with WJR 760 Detroit, he said, "At this point, I'm feeling all right. My intention is to get ready to practice this week and we'll see what happens."

Stafford was absolutely hammered by the Vikings on Sunday, suffering a rib injury in addition to open wounds on his left elbow and thumb. He finished the contest with wraps on his left hand and elbow, but results from post-game X-rays on his ribs weren't revealed by the team.

The fact that he directed the offense in Monday's walkthrough bodes well for his Week 3 availability. However, Wednesday's injury report could clear up an lingering concerns surrounding Stafford.

  • Stephen Morris QB | SEA

Eagles dump QB Stephen Morris, sign QB Thad Lewis

The Eagles have released third-string quarterback Stephen Morris and signed the more experienced Thad Lewis, per Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Lewis started five games for the Bills in 2013 and one for the Browns in 2012. Cleveland re-signed him this offseason, but let him go after a disappointing preseason performance.

  • Sam Bradford QB | MIN

Kelly claims he still has confidence in Eagles QB Sam Bradford

Chip Kelly gave Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford a vote of confidence Monday after a poor Week 2 showing against Dallas in which the team scored just one touchdown, per Eagles Insider.

Bradford has thrown four interceptions in two games as the team opened the season 0-2. But he has averaged 280 yards in the two contests with two touchdown passes.

  • Lions QB Matthew Stafford dealing with sore ribs

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford's (ribs) status for Sunday's Week 3 game against the Broncos is uncertain, MLive.com reports.

Stafford was battered during Sunday's loss to the Vikings, suffering a rib injury along the way that required post-game X-rays. While coach Jim Caldwell declined to reveal the results of Stafford's medical tests, he did say that Stafford is 'very, very sore' from the hits he sustained in Week 2.

As a result, Stafford's participation level during practice this week should be rather worthwhile to monitor, as it's unclear whether he'll be healthy enough for the Lions' upcoming home opener against the Broncos.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Russell Wilson has strong game, but Seahawks fall to Packers in Week 2

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed 19 of 30 passes for 206 yards, with two touchdowns and an interception, in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Packers.

Wilson also gained 78 yards on 10 carries, accounting for nearly two-thirds of Seattle's running production. TE Jimmy Graham only caught one pass for 11 yards on two targets, as Wilson often honed in on top wideout Doug Baldwin, who had seven catches for 92 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. Wilson mostly played a nice game, particularly in the second half, but his fourth-quarter interception on a screen pass was an incredibly costly mistake. He could be in for a big Week 3, as the Seahawks will head home to face a soft Bears defense.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers QB Aaron Rogers fires two TD passes in Week 2 win

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 25 of 33 passes for 249 yards and two touchdowns in Monday's 27-17 win over the Seahawks, adding six carries for 23 yards.

Rodgers made the most of his modest volume for a second straight week, despite working with a depleted supporting cast. Randall Cobb (shoulder) looked pretty healthy while catching eight passes for 116 yards, but Davante Adams (ankle) missed most of the second quarter, and Eddie Lacy (ankle) only played one drive. Rodgers was sharp throughout the game, making a number of perfect throws into tight coverage. Even with a banged-up supporting cast, he'll be one of the top quarterback options in Week 3, facing the Chiefs on Monday Night Football.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders QB Derek Carr flashes potential in win over Ravens

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr (thumb) had one of the best games of his young career, tossing 351 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's wild 37-33 upset win over Baltimore. He threw an interception, and also ran for 23 yards on two carries.

It looked like Carr might not even play Sunday, after he injured his thumb in Week 1. After the Ravens hit a field goal to take a 33-30 lead with 2:10 remaining, Carr led hem on a game-winning drive, culminating in a 12-yard touchdown pass to Seth Roberts. Although Carr spread things around -- he completed at least one pass to 10 different players -- he did a great job hooking up with Michael Crabtree and rookie Amari Cooper, as they combined to catch 16 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns.

Assuming he didn't suffer any setbacks with his thumb, Carr will face the Browns in Cleveland next week.
