  • Chris Hogan WR | NO

    Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

Bills WR Chris Hogan leads team in receiving in Week 5 victory

Bills running back Chris Hogan caught all three of his targets for a team-high 52 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Titans, and also completed a pass for four yards.

Hogan has caught all eight of his targets for 95 yards and a score while filling in for an injured Sammy Watkins (calf) over the past two weeks. The third-year receiver out of Monmouth has demonstrated a nice rapport with quarterback Tyrod Taylor, but he will most likely fade back into obscurity upon Watkins' return. Even with Watkins out, Hogan hasn't seen enough volume to be a true difference-maker in a relatively conservative Bills offense.

  • Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

Bills QB Tyrod Taylor uses legs to defeat Titans

Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor completed 10 of 17 passes for just 109 yards and a touchdown, but added a team-leading 76 rushing yards and another score on eight carries in Sunday's 14-13 victory over the Titans.

The Bills offense as a whole struggled mightily throughout this one, but Taylor's ability to create with his legs ultimately propelled the team to victory. Taylor finished under 200 yards passing for the first time since Week 1, but salvaged his day with a resurgent effort on the ground. The quarterback's ability as a runner makes him the surest bet for production in an otherwise inconsistent Buffalo offense.

  • Sam Bradford QB | MIN

Eagles QB Sam Bradford tosses two touchdowns in win

Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford completed 32 of 45 passes for 333 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions Sunday against the Saints.

Bradford connected with nine different receivers, throwing his scoring strikes to wide receiver Josh Huff and tight end Brent Celek. Both of his picks came in the end zone, but he bounced back very well to lead his team to a 22-point win. Bradford now has five scores in the last two games heading into Week 6 against the Giants.

  • Brian Hoyer QB | LV

    Ryan Mallett QB | BAL

Texans pick QB Brian Hoyer starter over Ryan Mallett for Week 6

Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer will start the Week 6 game against the Jaguars, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Hoyer replaced Ryan Mallett on Thursday night and proceeded to complete 24 of 31 passes for 312 yards, two touchdowns and one interception en route to compiling a 116.6 passer rating.

While O'Brien hasn't hesitated to switch things up at the quarterback position this season, we suspect that this change has a good chance to stick as long as Hoyer remains healthy.

    Ryan Mallett QB | BAL

Texans QB Brian Hoyer nearly rallies team to win

Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer replaced Ryan Mallett in the second quarter of the 27-20 loss Thursday night to the Colts, ultimately completing 24 of 31 passes for 312 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

Mallett produced zero points on the first three drives, leading to a benching for the second straight week. Hoyer threw a terrible interception on the last drive, but he otherwise played an excellent game, putting up 20 points on six possessions.

Hoyer will likely be the Week 6 starter, but it will still be interesting to see what Bill O'Brien says in his post-game press conference.

    Brian Hoyer QB | LV

Texans QB Ryan Mallett benched for Brian Hoyer again

Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer replaced Ryan Mallett during the second quarter of the Thursday night game against the Colts.

Mallett got off to another slow start, completing 5 of 10 passes for 50 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. Benched in the second half of last week's blowout loss to the Falcons, Mallett was again replaced, only this time Bill O'Brien didn't wait until the contest was out of reach.

Hoyer led the team to 10 points on its final two drives of the first half, but seven of those points came on a Hail Mary to rookie wide receiver Jaelen Strong.

  • Josh Johnson QB | CIN

Quarterback Josh Johnson re-signs with Colts

The Colts have re-signed quarterback Josh Johnson, The Indianapolis Star reports.

The Colts released him after this past Sunday's win over the Jaguars, but with Matt Hasselbeck under the weather and Andrew Luck continuing to deal with a shoulder issue, Johnson was brought back in to give the team QB insurance in advance of Thursday's game against the Texans.

  • Bills sign Billy Cundiff with Dan Carpenter at less than 100 percent

Kicker Billy Cundiff has been signed by the Bills, according to WKBW in Buffalo.

The veteran kicker will likely be the backup to Dan Carpenter, who has been dealing with a minor knee issue. The Bills released kicker Jordan Gay to make room for Cundiff on the roster.

  • Lions QB Matthew Stafford totals 203 passing yards in Week 4 loss

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 24 of 35 passes for 203 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions in Monday night's loss to the Seahawks.

Stafford and the Lions' offense struggled to move the ball Monday night, leading to just three points before Detroit's defense scored their lone touchdown. While the Seahawks' stingy home defense surely contributed toward Stafford's unexciting performance, it's encouraging that Monday marked Stafford's first game this season without a turnover. Additionally, Stafford came agonizingly close to having a touchdown pass wideout Calvin Johnson, but a goal line fumble by Johnson erased those potential points. On the whole, Stafford's production was relatively limited Monday and he'll hope next weekend's matchup against the Cardinals and offer more scoring opportunities.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson totals 287 passing yards in Week 4 win

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed 20 of 26 passes for 287 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed 10 times for 40 yards and lost two fumbles in Monday night's win over the Lions.

Wilson was regularly pressured by the Lions' defensive front and despite numerous impressive scrambles to evade rushers, he was still sacked six times and lost a pair of fumbles, including one that was returned for a touchdown during the fourth quarter. On the bright side, Wilson's 287 passing yards marked a season-high, as did his 11.04 yards per attempt. Wilson also connected with wideout Doug Baldwin on a 24-yard touchdown pass during the second quarter. So while a lack of protection hurt the Seahawks' offense, Wilson's pocket presence still enabled him to make plays downfield in the passing game.
