  • Patriots' Jimmy Garoppolo: Shoulder evaluation

The Patriots will evaluate Garoppolo's shoulder Sunday morning to decide whether he or Jacoby Brissett will start against the Bills, the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

We'll know before game time, but it sounds like it's still up in the air at this point.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Doesn't have injury designation

Wilson (knee/ankle) is slated to play in Sunday's game against the Jets.

A full practice participant throughout the week, Wilson doesn't have a designation on the final injury report. He'll start Sunday's game in New York, but his mobility could be quite limited, just as it was the past two weeks. Wilson will wear a brace to help stabilize his sprained left knee.

  • Patriots' Jacoby Brissett: Listed as questionable, along with Garoppolo

Both Brissett (right thumb) and Jimmy Garoppolo (right shoulder) are listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills, a 1:00 ET kickoff, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.

Per the Providence Journal, both signal-callers threw some this week, but the Patriots have not indicated which of the two is in line to draw the team's start at QB in Week 4. At this point, we may not have clarity on that front until Sunday, which makes Brissett a risky fantasy roll for now. Once the Patriots get past this week's action, the team will welcome top QB Tom Brady back to the fold in advance of Week 5's contest against the Browns.

  • Patriots' Jimmy Garoppolo: Listed as questionable, as is Brissett

Both Garoppolo (right shoulder) and Jacoby Brissett (right thumb) are listed as questionable for Sunday's 1:00 ET game against the Bills, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.

As are six other Pats, with no players listed as doubtful or out by the team heading into Week 4 action. At this stage, the Patriots have not indicated whether Garoppolo or Brissett will start this weekend and it wouldn't surprise us if clarity on that front didn't arrive until Sunday. Either way, top QB Tom Brady is slated to return to action in Week 5, so Garoppolo's window of fantasy opportunity is closing soon.

  • Bryce Petty QB | MIA

Jets' Bryce Petty: Remains sidelined in Week 4

Petty (shoulder) has been ruled out for the Jets' Week 4 game against the Seahawks.

Petty is yet to be active for a game this season. However, he's still a distant No. 3 QB on the team's depth chart.

  • Brian Hoyer QB | LV

Bears' Brian Hoyer: In line for another start

Hoyer is expected to start Sunday's game against Detroit, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

With Jay Cutler absent from practice and listed as doubtful, Hoyer will almost certainly be under center Sunday afternoon. He'll draw a favorable matchup against a Detroit defense that may be missing DE Ezekiel Ansah (ankle) and DeAndre Levy (quad). However, top wideout Alshon Jeffery is dealing with hamstring and knee injuries, according to Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune.

  • Patriots' Jacoby Brissett: Throwing at Friday's practice

Brissett (thumb) was seen throwing passes before Friday's practice, the Boston Globe reports.

Brissett's status for this weekend's game against the Bills remains unclear after he sprained his right thumb last Thursday, but the fact that he was seen throwing passes prior to drill work Friday seems encouraging. The rookie was reportedly sporting gloves, which could help improve his grip if his thumb's condition requires extra support. With teammate Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder) also entering the weekend with his status yet to be revealed, the Patriots' practice report should help clarify their starting quarterback prior to Sunday.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Says 'no doubt' he will play Sunday

Wilson (knee, ankle) said Thursday there is "no doubt" he will play Sunday at the Jets, the Seattle Times reports.

Wilson, who sprained the MCL in his left knee last Sunday, said he has had no limitations in practice this week. He was listed as a full participant Wednesday and Thursday. He will wear a knee brace Sunday but said he doesn't expect it to be a hinderance. He is also still recovering from a right high-ankle sprain suffered in Week 2.

  • Jameis Winston QB | NYG

Buccaneers' Jameis Winston: Looking to reduce number of pass attempts

Winston is putting up the ball at an inordinately high rate to date in 2016, something the Bucs are looking to rectify, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.

The second-year signal-caller has already tallied two games with 50-plus pass attempts in 2016, a mark he only reached once all of his rookie campaign. The extra drop-backs have unsurprisingly resulted in more turnovers, as Winston has six interceptions and two lost fumbles through the first three weeks. He's also been much less efficient in the two games, both losses, that have featured the elevated number of throws, as he's seen a 14-point drop in completion percentage (down to 57.3 from 71.9) and almost three yards less per attempt (down to 5.89 from 8.78) when compared to his numbers in those respective categories in the season-opening victory over the Falcons. Head coach Dirk Koetter has expressed a desire for a much more balanced attack leading up to the Week 4 tilt against the Broncos, but achieving that will be challenging without the steady chain-moving presence of Doug Martin (hamstring) in the backfield for what figures to be at least another two games. Although Charles Sims did provide some reason for optimism by averaging a solid 4.2 YPC in Week 3 versus the Rams, the going on the ground figures to be a lot tougher against a stalwart Denver front seven come Sunday, which could lead to another heavy workload for Winston's arm.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Bengals' Andy Dalton: Solid in efficient Week 4 victory

Dalton completed 22 of 31 passes for 296 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in Thursday's 22-7 victory over the Dolphins. He also netted minus-12 yards on six rushes and fumbled twice but recovered both.

The veteran signal-caller turned in an efficient performance against a Dolphins defense that has struggled to defend the pass through the first four weeks. Dalton's most spectacular play came on a first-quarter scramble where he deftly side-stepped the rush and slung a 51-yard heave downfield to a leaping A.J. Green, who snared the pass at its highest point. He also found four other receivers on the night, but looked Green's way the most by far (10 targets). Through four weeks, Dalton has put the ball up 146 times, as compared to the 116 attempts he tallied over the same time period last season. Despite the considerable uptick, he's only netted three touchdown passes, but the Bengals' aggressive air approach, if it endures, could certainly pay dividends for Dalton's fantasy owners throughout the season.
