Jacoby Brissett QB | ARI
Patriots' Jacoby Brissett: Leads Patriots to no points in Week 4 start
Brissett (thumb) completed 17 of 27 passes for 205 yards, and added four carries for 23 yards in Sunday's 16-0 loss to the Bills. He also lost one of his two fumbles.
Brissett got the start over Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder), but failed to lead the Patriots offense to any points in their first home shutout at Gillette Stadium. The rookie has failed to throw a passing touchdown in any of his three appearances. Brissett's fantasy relevance for the season has likely expired with regular starter Tom Brady back from his Deflategate suspension next week.

Matthew Stafford QB | LAR
Lions' Matthew Stafford: Disastrous in Week 5
Stafford completed 23 of 36 passes for 213 yards and two interceptions in the Lions' 17-14 loss to the Bears in Week 4. He also tallied 17 rushing yards across two carries.
Stafford's QBR of 56.8 was the lowest he's recorded since Week 5 of 2015 as the Lions failed to get much of anything going on offense against the Bears. His second interception was a particularly brutal attempt of a pass, though, and served as an all-too-common reminder of Stafford's propensity to post frustrating fantasy numbers in seemingly favorable match-ups. He'll get a chance to rebound in Week 5, but it will come against a formidable Eagles defense.

Brian Hoyer QB | LV
Bears' Brian Hoyer: Throws forr 302 yards in Sunday victory
Hoyer completed 28 of 36 passes for 302 yards and two touchdowns Sunday against the Lions.
With Alshon Jeffery limited with knee and hamstring injuries, Hoyer locked in heavily on both Eddie Royal and Kevin White on his way to a productive fantasy day. He found Royal for a first-half touchdown, and later connected with him a short pass that he turned into a 64-yard reception, and his second touchdown came to a wide-open Zach Miller. Hoyer's overall numbers were impressive, especially since the Bears played with the lead throughout most of the contest, and they were able to also lean heavily upon Jordan Howard and the rushing attack. He'll continue to be a solid fantasy backup until Jay Cutler returns to the lineup from his palm injury.

Brian Hoyer QB | LV
Bears' Brian Hoyer: Earning another start in Week 4
With Jay Cutler (thumb) deemed inactive, Hoyer will start Sunday versus the Lions.
For the second consecutive contest, Hoyer will stand in for Cutler against a bottom-tier secondary. In Week 3, he completed 30 of 49 passes for 317 yards and two touchdowns against the Cowboys.

Jacoby Brissett QB | ARI
Patriots' Jacoby Brissett: In line to start with Garoppolo inactive
Brissett (right thumb) is slated to start Sunday's game against the Bills.
With Jimmy Garoppolo inactive, wideout Julian Edelman is on track to serve as the Patriots' emergency QB option Sunday, with Brissett representing a speculative Week 4 fantasy lineup option, given that the Patriots could feature a run-heavy attack Sunday.
-
Jimmy Garoppolo QB | LAR
Patriots' Jimmy Garoppolo: Inactive Sunday
Garoppolo (right shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bills.
Garoppolo's shoulder is not only too sore for him to start Sunday, but the Patriots won't even suit him up as a backup in Week 4. With top QB Tom Brady not back from his suspension until next week, wideout Julian Edelman profiles as the team's emergency option at QB on Sunday.
-
Cardale Jones QB | LAC
Bills' Cardale Jones: Inactive for Sunday's game
Jones (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's tilt with the Patriots.
Once again the rookie quarterback finds himself on the inactive list as he has yet to suit up for a game this season. The Bills will continue to go with only EJ Manuel behind starter Tyrod Taylor. Unless either quarterback suffers some sort of aliment during the season, Jones could continue to find himself on the inactive list every Sunday.

Russell Wilson QB | NYG
Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Active Sunday
Wilson (knee/ankle) is listed as active Sunday against the Jets in New York, Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN Seattle reports. "He's looking pretty good," Wilson's rehab specialist Drew Marcos told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. "Obviously he's not 100 percent, but he's able to do what he needs to do to lead the team as the QB. He's not going to be his typical mobile self, but he'll be able to sit in the pocket and do what he does."
Wilson is expected to don a custom brace on his left knee that's typically used by players coming off ACL tears. As mentioned by Marcos, Wilson's wizardry of movement is expected to be limited by the sprained MCL in his left knee, which doesn't lend itself to an effective outing behind a porous offensive line. However, the Jets' secondary has been burned for 300-plus passing yards in two of three games this season, aiding in Wilson's prospects.

Jacoby Brissett QB | ARI
Patriots' Jacoby Brissett: In line to start Sunday
Brissett (right thumb) is on track to start Sunday's game against the Bills, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
With Brissett dealing with a thumb issue and Jimmy Garoppolo a right shoulder injury, evidently Brissett is the closer to full strength of the two signal-callers, which puts him in line to start Sunday's game. In any case, top QB Tom Brady is set to return to action in Week 5, so both Brissett and Garoppolo are slated to revert to reserve roles next weekend.
