Patriots' Nick Folk: Signs with New England

The Patriots signed Folk from their practice squad to their active roster Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Folk was promoted to the Patriots' active roster before each of the first two games this season. With Quinn Nordin (abdomen) still on IR, and the veteran Folk having made 33 consecutive field-goals, the move to sign the 36-year-old to the active roster was an obvious choice.

  • Cowboys' Greg Zuerlein: Drills game-winner Sunday

Zuerlein connected on both his extra points and both his field-goal attempts Sunday, including a 56-yarder as time expired in the fourth quarter of a 20-17 win over the Chargers.

The veteran kicker had a shaky Week 1 after missing the entire preseason while recuperating from back surgery, shanking two FGs and one PAT, but Greg the Leg appeared to be back in peak form Sunday. A healthy Zuerlein should be among the top fantasy options at his position this season given how potent the Dallas offense is expected to be most weeks.

  • Ravens' Justin Tucker: Automatic on Sunday

Tucker converted a 43-yard field goal and made all three of his extra-point attempts Sunday against the Chiefs.

Tucker has been flawless through two weeks, making all six extra points in addition to being 3-for-3 on field goals. He gets to kick in a dome Sunday against the Lions and then gets to kick at altitude in Week 4 when the Ravens travel to Denver.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Remains perfect in win

McManus connected on all three of his field-goal attempts and both extra-point attempts in Sunday's 23-13 win over the Jaguars.

McManus connected from 32, 40 and 46 yards in the contest. Through two weeks, the veteran kicker has been perfect on all field-goal and extra-point attempts. McManus will look to keep the streak going in Week 3 when the Broncos host the Jets.

  • Raiders' Daniel Carlson: Contributes 14 points in win

Carlson made all four of his field-goal attempts and added a pair of extra points in Sunday's 26-17 win over the Steelers.

Carlson is perfect on six field goals and five extra-point tries through the Raiders' first two contests of the season, tying Nick Folk with a league-leading 23 total points among kickers. The Raiders return home to Allegiant Stadium in Week 3 as they host the Dolphins, who just gave up 35 points to Buffalo.

  • Joey Slye K | TEN

Joey Slye: Reverts to practice squad

Slye reverted to the Texans' practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

Slye missed his only field-goal attempt in Sunday's loss to the Browns. However, he did convert all three of his extra-point attempts. He's been filling in for Ka'imi Fairbairn (leg) as Houston's placekicker.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Cardinals' Matt Prater: Hits all six kicks Week 2

Prater made both field-goal attempts and all four point-after tries during Sunday's 34-33 win versus the Vikings.

After scoring eight points in the Cardinals' season opener, Prater again was busy with Kyler Murray and company going up and down the field. On this occasion, though, Prater made his one field goal longer than 40 yards, nailing a 62-yarder as time expired in the first half. With 18 points so far on his ledger through two games, he sits in a tie for seventh among kickers with the Giants' Graham Gano.

  • Tyler Bass K | BUF

Bills' Tyler Bass: Modest Week 2

Bass made all five of his extra-point tries and missed his only field-goal attempt (a 53-yarder) in Buffalo's win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

The five points is pretty disappointing when your team puts up 35, but that comes with the territory as the Bills were producing nothing but touchdowns vs. the helpless Dolphins. At least Bass managers got five more points than those of Jason Sanders on the other side of the box score. Through two contests, Bass has a modest 15 points while going 3-for-4 on field goals and 6-for-6 in extra points.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: No opportunities Week 2

Sanders did not attempt a field goal or extra point during Sunday's 35-0 loss to the Bills.

Sanders was victim to an unusual game script during Sunday's divisional loss, with Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) having been forced out early in the first quarter, and Jacoby Brissett then unable to get the offense moving in relief action. He converted his lone field-goal attempt (48 yards) against the Patriots in Week 1, along with both extra-point tries.

  • Nick Folk K | ATL

Nick Folk: Reverts to practice squad

Folk has reverted back to the Patriots' practice squad.

With fellow kicker Quinn Nordin (abdomen) on IR, and Folk having made a team-record 33 straight FG attempts, it's assumed that the veteran kicker once again will be promoted to the Patriots' active roster in advance of this coming Sunday's game against the Saints.
