• Cowboys' George Pickens: Takes turn as workhorse Thursday

  Pickens secured nine of 13 targets for 130 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' 24-16 loss to the Buccaneers on Thursday night. Pickens was a bit player in the air attack during a Week 4 comeback win against the Texans during which CeeDee Lamb (quadriceps) recorded a massive 17-189-1 line on 21 targets, but it was the former's turn to shine Thursday. The fact Lamb was in and out of the game during the latter stages of the fourth quarter did have some impact on Pickens' involvement, but the latter was already having a big night that included his first receiving touchdown of the season on an 18-yard grab in the fourth quarter. Pickens ultimately finished with new season-high figures across his receiving line, and he'll be in line for a similarly busy night in a Week 6 road matchup against the Packers on Sunday night, Oct. 18 if Lamb is limited or misses that contest altogether.

• Cowboys' George Pickens: Two long gains in win over Houston

  Pickens caught two of three targets for 75 yards in Sunday's 34-30 win over the Texans. CeeDee Lamb was the target on a massive 21 of Dak Prescott's 45 pass attempts, which didn't leave much volume for any other Cowboy. Pickens made an impact when he got a chance however, hauling in receptions of 53 and 22 yards. Pickens is still looking for his first TD of 2026 after scoring a career-high nine last season, and he'll take an 18-225-0 line on 28 targets through four games into a Week 5 meeting at home against the Buccaneers.

  Pickens caught seven of 11 targets for 82 yards in Sunday's 34-31 loss to Baltimore. The fifth-year wideout led the Cowboys in targets while setting new season highs in targets, catches and receiving yards, as he begins to shake off a slow start to the campaign. Pickens is still searching for his first TD of 2026, or even his first gain of 20-plus yards, but he'll look to continue building momentum in a Week 4 road trip to Houston.

• Cowboys' George Pickens: Slight improvement in Week 2 win

  Pickens brought in six of eight targets for 40 yards in the Cowboys' 37-20 win over the Commanders on Sunday. Pickens finished second in receptions and targets on the afternoon for the Cowboys, but he wasn't very efficient on a per-catch basis. The star wideout saw CeeDee Lamb take priority Sunday, with the latter finishing with an 8-153-2 line on nine targets. Pickens remains a critical component of a high-upside Cowboys air attack, however, and his body of work last season supports the notion a breakout performance may be imminent.

• Cowboys' George Pickens: Kept in check by Giants

  Pickens caught three of six targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 28-20 loss to the Giants. Pickens had a couple drops in Sunday night's underwhelming season-opening performance. He was also quiet in Week 1 last season with a 30-yard receiving performance against the Eagles, but Pickens went on to post career highs with 1,429 receiving yards and nine TDs during the 2025 regular season. The talented wide receiver has a nice rebound opportunity coming up Week 2 against a Washington secondary that was among the league's leakiest in 2025.
