• Broncos' Jaylen Waddle: Makes just two catches Sunday

  Waddle corralled two of five targets for 19 yards and also had a nine-yard carry during Sunday's 23-17 road win against the Chargers. Waddle has hit once (8-138-0 on 10 targets in Week 2 against the Jaguars) and otherwise hasn't done much (10-66-1 on 21 targets) in his other four appearances in his first campaign with the Broncos. It didn't help any of Denver's skill-position players that QB Bo Nix's 27 passes went for only 123 yards, and a quick turnaround to face the Seahawks defense Thursday isn't a recipe for Waddle or any of his teammates to turn around their fortunes to begin the 2026 season.

  Waddle has struggled so far as a Fantasy receiver in Denver, with two games with at least 14.5 PPR points and two games with 6.4 PPR points or less. He finally scored his first touchdown with the Broncos in Week 4 at San Francisco, and he's averaging 7.7 targets per game in his past three outings, which is a positive sign. This week, Waddle faces a Chargers defense that has allowed six receivers to score at least 12.3 PPR points in four games, and Waddle could get an additional target or two with Pat Bryant (ankle) out. I like Waddle as a high-end No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

  Waddle secured five of six targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' 24-14 loss to the 49ers on Sunday. Waddle recorded his first touchdown as a member of the Broncos at a critical juncture, as his 13-yard scoring grab with just over four minutes remaining helped Denver get to within three points at the time. Waddle also finished second in receptions and tied for runner-up status in targets as well, and he's now seen a total of 23 passes from Bo Nix come his way in the last three contests. The Broncos' air attack and Waddle's chemistry with Nix remains a work in progress, but the veteran receiver takes a solid 16-185-1 line on 26 targets into a Week 5 divisional road matchup against the Chargers next Sunday.

  Waddle (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the 49ers. Following the Broncos' Week 3 win over the Rams, Waddle was spotted with his walking boot on his right foot, but he wasn't inhibited by the injury during Week 4 prep. He was a full participant in practices Wednesday through Friday, clearing the way for him to head into the weekend without a designation. Waddle isn't expected to face any restrictions with his snaps Sunday.

  Waddle (leg) was on the field Wednesday for the start of the Broncos' practice session, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. Following Sunday's 30-26 win over the Rams, Waddle was spotted wearing a walking boot on his right foot. His presence on the field begin Week 4 prep suggests he might have been wearing the boot as a precaution, but fantasy managers will nonetheless want to track Waddle's practice activity leading up to this weekend's game in San Francisco. Through his first three contests with the Broncos, Waddle has recorded 11 catches for 150 yards on 20 targets while carrying once for a 14-yard gain.
