  • Fitzpatrick posted 10 tackles (six solo) Sunday in a loss to Miami. Fitzpatrick's 10 stops led New York and marked his second double-digit tackle effort of the campaign. After missing Weeks 2 and 3 due to a groin injury, Fitzpatrick has logged every Jets defensive snap in four straight games as a stalwart of the team's secondary. The veteran safety has tallied 36 tackles and two defensed passes, including one interception, through five games during his first season with New York.

  • Fitzpatrick recorded 16 tackles (eight solo) and an interception during the Jets' 23-12 loss to the Bears on Sunday. Fitzpatrick's interception during Sunday's loss was the Jets' first since the start of the 2025 regular season, coinciding with the start of Aaron Glenn's head coaching tenure with the franchise, and the pick led to a 36-yard field goal by Jason Sanders midway in the second quarter. Fitzpatrick and three other Jets players played a whopping 93 defensive snaps due to the fact that the Bears finished with a 42:45 time of possession. Given the large workload in Week 4, coupled with the fact that Fitzpatrick missed the Jets' two prior games due to a groin injury, it wouldn't be surprising to see the veteran safety's practice participation limited ahead of the team's Week 5 home tilt against the Browns.

  • Fitzpatrick (groin) was a full participant in practice Thursday. Fitzpatrick appears set to return to his starting safety role after missing the last two games due to his groin injury. The fact Fitzpatrick will seemingly be available to slot in alongside Dane Belton will help the Jets' quest to slow down an aggressive Ben Johnson offense at Soldier Field in the Week 4 matchup against the Bears on Sunday.

  • Jets' Minkah Fitzpatrick: Limited Wednesday
    • By RotoWire

Coach Aaron Glenn said Fitzpatrick (groin) will be limited in Wednesday's practice, Antwan V. Staley of the New York Daily News reports. After missing back-to-back games in Weeks 2 and 3, Fitzpatrick has a decent shot at returning for Sunday's game against the Bears. Dane Belton and Andre Cisco have been manning the safety spots for the Jets with Fitzpatrick sidelined.

  • Fitzpatrick (groin) won't play in Sunday's game versus Detroit, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Fitzpatrick was injured in the 23-10 win over the Titans in Week 1. He didn't play in the 20-17 overtime loss to the Packers in Week 2, so he will be sidelined for a second consecutive contest. The veteran's next opportunity to get back on the field will come in Week 4 in Chicago. In the meantime, Andre Cisco is in line to make his second straight start.
