Ament (coach's decision) did not play in Wednesday's 128-116 loss to Washington. The rookie forward was left out of Milwaukee's rotation after dealing with an ankle issue during the preseason. Although Ament was listed as probable entering the contest, the Bucks elected not to use him. His opportunities could remain inconsistent as he adjusts to the NBA.

Ament (ankle) is available for Wednesday's season opener against the Wizards. Ament sustained a left ankle sprain in a preseason game two weeks ago, but he's recovered in time for Opening Night. Although the rookie first-rounder is a big part of the rebuilding Bucks' long-term plans, Ament is unlikely to play meaningful minutes in the early stages of 2026-27 while Milwaukee is healthy.

Ament is probable for Wednesday's season opener against the Wizards with a right ankle sprain. The rookie forward is expected to be available for his league debut Wednesday. However, Ament doesn't appear to be in line for a considerable role.

Ament (ankle) didn't play in Friday's 128-127 preseason win over the Pacers in overtime. Ament ended the preseason with a third straight absence due to a left ankle sprain. The rookie forward's status will be worth monitoring ahead of Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Wizards, though his absence likely wouldn't cause too many waves in the rotation.

Ament (ankle) is out for Wednesday's preseason game against Chicago, Cameron Ezeir of CBS Milwaukee reports. Ament will remain sidelined due to a left ankle sprain he sustained Oct. 7 against Oklahoma City. His availability for Friday's matchup against Indiana remains uncertain, though Milwaukee head coach Taylor Jenkins suggested the rookie should be ready for Opening Night.
