Lopez (5-4) allowed one hit, four walks and a hit batsman while striking out four over five shutout innings to earn the win over the Twins on Friday.

Lopez wasn't all that impressive, but keeping runs off the board was good enough to earn him his first win since May 24. The southpaw threw 50 of 91 pitches for strikes in this outing, which was his second consecutive turn through the rotation. Lopez has a 6.12 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 53:40 K:BB through 64.2 innings over 16 games (13 starts) this season. He looks set to continue occupying a starting role, though he is a bit of a risky option in his next projected start, which is expected to be at home versus the Red Sox.

Sandoval did not factor into the decision in Friday's 6-4 win over the Blue Jays, allowing five hits and two walks while striking out three over 4.2 scoreless innings.

Sandoval threw just 51 of 84 pitches for strikes with six whiffs but managed to keep the Blue Jays in check, departing with two outs and two men on in the fifth inning before Tyron Guerrero finished the frame. While the 29-year-old Sandoval has not pitched beyond the fifth in any of his three outings with the Red Sox, he's yielded just five earned runs while increasing his pitch count each time out. He'll take a 3.21 ERA, 1.64 WHIP and 13:4 K:BB across 14 innings into a road matchup with the Athletics next week.

Yesavage did not factor into the decision in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Red Sox, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk with nine strikeouts over five innings.

Yesavage threw 63 of 93 pitches for strikes with an impressive 17 whiffs, but he was undone by two homers and departed with a 3-0 deficit. The 22-year-old has now generated nine punchouts in consecutive turns, but he's alternated quality starts with short outings in four July appearances, posting a 6.11 ERA during that span. He owns a 3.92 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 87:42 K:BB across 85 innings and lines up for a road matchup with the Nationals next week.

Zuber (0-1) recorded the loss Friday against the Padres, allowing two runs on two hits while striking out two in two-thirds of an inning.

Zuber entered with the game tied at two in the eighth inning before allowing the eventual game-winning two-run homer to Luis Rengifo. Zuber allowed his first earned run since July 1 and his fourth homer. On the campaign, the 31-year-old now owns a 5.65 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 17:3 K:BB in 14.1 innings.

Okamoto went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Red Sox.

Down 4-0 in the seventh inning, Okamoto gave the Blue Jays life with a three-run blast off Greg Weissert. It was an encouraging effort for the 30-year-old, who entered the All-Star break on a tear but opened the second half in an 0-for-22 slump entering Friday. On the season, he's slashing .227/.308/.451 with 23 homers -- setting a new MLB record for home runs by a Japanese rookie, surpassing the 22 long balls launched by Shohei Ohtani with the Angels in 2018.

Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a run scored and two strikeouts during Miami's 4-2 loss to San Diego on Friday.

Hernandez tied the game at two in the fifth inning with a solo home run. The 26-year-old belted his first homer since July 10 against Cleveland, before the midseason break took place. On the campaign, Hernandez has slashed .250/.322/.491 with 14 homers and 38 RBI in 258 plate appearances.

Mack went 1-for-4 with a homer, a run scored and a strikeout in Miami's 4-2 loss to San Diego on Friday.

Mack opened up the scoring in the second inning with a solo homer to give the Marlins the early lead. The 23-year-old now has three home runs in his past four games. On the season, the rookie is slashing .243/.298/.446 with 10 homers and 30 RBI in 194 plate appearances.

Seigler went 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 6-4 win over the Blue Jays.

Seigler had the best game of his career, opening the scoring with a leadoff blast in the first inning and tallying his first four-hit effort. Through 111 plate appearances in 28 games with the Red Sox, the 27-year-old is slashing .273/.336/.455 with three homers, nine RBI, 15 runs scored and two steals. He's been especially strong at home, posting a .913 OPS over 14 games in Fenway Park with eight of his 12 total extra-base hits.

Gusto did not factor into the decision in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Padres, allowing one run on two hits and one walk while striking out four over 3.1 innings.

Gusto left the game after 57 pitches (37 strikes) with one out into the fourth. The 27-year-old pitched on just two days' rest after recording two innings of work against Houston on Tuesday. On the campaign, Gusto now owns a 4.50 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 31:11 K:BB in 34 innings.

Miller picked up the save Friday against the Marlins, striking out one batter over a perfect inning.

Miller continued his unbelievable 2026 campaign, inducing groundouts from Joe Mack and Otto Lopez before striking out Kyle Stowers to end the game. The closer now possesses a 0.84 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 79:15 K:BB in 42.2 innings this season. Miller is tied with Riley O'Brien and Bryan Baker with 26 saves, which is good for second-best in MLB.
