David Hamilton SS | MIL
Brewers' David Hamilton: Getting rest Saturday
Hamilton isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Marlins.
Hamilton will retreat to the bench Saturday after going just 2-for-16 with six strikeouts over his last five games. Luis Rengifo will cover third base and bat sixth while Hamilton sits.

Willi Castro LF | COL
Rockies' Willi Castro: Sitting third straight
Castro (hand) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.
Castro has been held out of action since he was hit on the hand by a pitch during Wednesday's contest. A move to the injured list doesn't seem to be imminent, but it could come into consideration if the 28-year-old isn't cleared to return soon. Edouard Julien will man second base Saturday.

Pedro Leon OF | PHI
Pedro Leon: Cut by Phillies
The Phillies released Leon on Saturday.
Leon was unable to land a spot on the active roster out of spring training, and after slashing .283/.358/.326 through 12 games at Triple-A, the 27-year-old will now attempt to find an opportunity in the open market. Felix Reyes was selected to the active roster in a corresponding move.

Felix Reyes RF | PHI
Otto Kemp 3B | PHI
Phillies' Felix Reyes: Contract selected
The Phillies selected Reyes' contract from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday.
Reyes has gotten off to a strong start at Lehigh Valley, slashing .333./.345/.654 with six homers, 15 RBI and 12 runs scored through 84 plate appearances. The 25-year-old has experience at first and third base as well as the corner outfield positions, so he'll replace the struggling Otto Kemp as Philadelphia's bench utility player. Reyes will be making his MLB debut while starting in left field Saturday against Atlanta.
-
Guardians' Angel Martinez: Not in Saturday's lineup
Martinez is not in the Guardians' starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Orioles.
Martinez will be on the bench for the beginning of Saturday's game after going 1-for-10 with five strikeouts over his last three outings. The Guardians will start George Valera, Steven Kwan and Chase DeLauter in the outfield from left to right.

Otto Kemp 3B | PHI
Felix Reyes RF | PHI
Phillies' Otto Kemp: Dispatched to Triple-A
The Phillies optioned Kemp to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday.
Kemp has appeared in 10 games for the Phillies this season, during which he's managed just a .282 OPS through 22 plate appearances. He'll head back to the minors to get back on track, and Felix Reyes will come up from Triple-A to fill the open roster spot.

Seth Johnson RP | PHI
Jhoan Duran RP | PHI
Phillies' Seth Johnson: Recalled from Triple-A
The Phillies recalled Johnson from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday.
The 27-year-old will join the big-league bullpen to fill the void left by Jhoan Duran, who was placed on the IL with an oblique strain Saturday. Johnson gave up three earned runs over 1.2 innings during his first appearance with the Phillies this year and will likely be limited to low-leverage situations.
-
Phillies' Jhoan Duran: Lands on IL
The Phillies placed Duran on the 15-day injured list Saturday with a left oblique strain, retroactive to Wednesday.
Duran has been dominant as the Phillies' closer to begin the year, posting a 1.35 ERA and 0.75 WHIP through 6.2 innings while tallying five saves. However, he hasn't pitched in a week due to his oblique injury and will now remain sidelined until at least April 30. Brad Keller and Jose Alvarado are the leading candidates to pick up saves while Duran is out, and Seth Johnson will come up from Triple-A to round out the bullpen.

Dietrich Enns RP | BAL
Orioles' Dietrich Enns: Starting rehab assignment Saturday
Enns (foot) will embark on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.
Enns landed on the 15-day injured list April 6 due to a left foot infection. He has recovered enough to go on a rehab assignment and shouldn't need more than a couple of outings before returning to the majors. Enns appeared in three games prior to his IL stint, allowing two runs on two hits and five walks while striking out seven across 4.1 innings.

Nick Gonzales 2B | PIT
Pirates' Nick Gonzales: Riding pine Saturday
Gonzales isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rays.
Gonzales will take a seat Saturday after going 3-for-16 with three RBI during his stretch of four consecutive starts. His absence will allow Nick Yorke to bat sixth while starting at third base.
