Mahle (4-10) took the loss Tuesday against the Twins, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three over 6.2 innings.

Mahle allowed a two-out double in the first inning before Josh Bell launched a two-run homer to open the scoring. The right-hander settled in nicely from there as he didn't surrender another run, recording 17 outs against the final 19 batters he faced. Unfortunately for Mahle, Atlanta provided just one run of support, saddling him with his 10th loss. He's delivered a quality start in each of his three outings since joining the team, allowing only three runs across 18.2 innings while striking out 19 during that span. Mahle owns a 4.53 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 108:40 K:BB across 113.1 innings this season. He will face a tougher test in his next scheduled start against the star-studded Dodgers.

Matthews (7-8) earned the win Tuesday against Atlanta, allowing one run on five hits and one walk while striking out four over 5.2 innings.

Matthews kept Atlanta off the board through five innings before Drake Baldwin led off the sixth with a solo homer for the only run against him. The right-hander has now earned the win in three consecutive starts since rejoining the rotation. Matthews has been significantly better at limiting damage when pitching at Target Field this season, posting a 3.14 ERA at home compared to a 7.13 mark on the road. He'll carry a 5.12 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 81:31 K:BB across 96.2 innings into his next scheduled start Monday against the Athletics.

Quintana (elbow) threw 45 pitches in a bullpen session Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Quintana has been building up his workload, with Tuesday's session being his most extensive since he was sidelined. The veteran southpaw is expected to throw live batting practice Aug. 22, with the goal of reaching 60 pitches.

Karros (concussion) has resumed baseball activity at Colorado's team complex in Arizona, MLB.com reports.

Karros is eligible to return from the injured list Wednesday, but that does not seem likely. Instead, it's suggested that Karros is trending toward activation for Colorado's weekend series against the Guardians.

Harrison (10-3) earned the win Tuesday against the Mariners, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out eight over five scoreless innings.

Harrison threw 49 of his 79 pitches for strikes and generated an impressive 30 combined called and swinging strikes. He departed with just a 1-0 lead before Milwaukee's offense erupted in the later innings of the eventual 22-run win. Harrison has completed five innings only twice over his last five starts, but he's been dominant in both, combining to allow just three hits and no runs while striking out 18. The left-hander has held opponents to three or fewer earned runs in 19 of his 20 starts this season, with the lone exception being a disastrous 2.1-inning, eight-run outing against the Athletics. Harrison will carry a 2.84 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 122:26 K:BB across 98.1 innings into his next scheduled start Tuesday against the Mets.

Miller (4-7) took the loss Tuesday against the Brewers, allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out three over 4.2 innings.

Miller held Milwaukee to a single unearned run through his first four innings before everything unraveled in the fifth. He was charged with five runs in the frame, with Christian Yelich's three-run homer delivering the biggest blow, before Seattle's bullpen allowed the game to turn into a 22-0 rout. It marked Miller's first start this season in which he failed to complete five innings, while the five earned runs matched his season high. The right-hander has struggled mightily over his last seven outings, posting a 0-5 record with a 6.57 ERA. On the season, he owns a 3.71 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 87:18 K:BB across 89.2 innings. Miller will seek to find any kind of improvement in his next start, tentatively scheduled for Sunday against the Cubs.

Duran (1-0) earned the win over the Athletics on Tuesday, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning.

Making his first appearance of the season, Duran worked a scoreless ninth inning before the Royals rallied for a walk-off victory. He was acquired from the Dodgers at the trade deadline and posted a 3.15 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 64:29 K:BB across 45.2 innings at Triple-A before making his team debut Tuesday.

Lynch did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Athletics, allowing one run on two hits and two walks with one strikeout over four innings.

Lynch allowed a run in the first inning but held the Athletics scoreless from there while throwing 27 of 45 pitches for strikes and generating just two whiffs. It was the 29-year-old's third straight start, and he completed four frames in an outing for the first time in more than two years. He owns a 2.83 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 41:16 K:BB across 54 innings this season and lines up for a home matchup with the Tigers this weekend.

Perkins did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Royals, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out four over 3.2 scoreless innings.

Perkins entered in the third inning and tossed 34 of 53 pitches for strikes with eight whiffs. It ended a nightmare stretch for the 26-year-old, who entered the contest having yielded 17 earned runs over his previous three August starts. He owns a 6.96 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 98:33 K:BB across 85.1 innings this season and lines up for a home matchup with the Astros this weekend.

Harris (3-2) blew a save and took the loss against the Royals on Tuesday, allowing three runs (two earned) on three hits and one walk in two-thirds of an inning. He did not register a strikeout.

Harris was summoned to protect a two-run lead in the eighth inning and secure a four-out save, but he departed after allowing a game-tying single in the ninth. Elvis Alvarado replaced him and surrendered a walk-off single, with the run and loss charged to the 29-year-old Harris. It's been a rocky August for the southpaw, who's blown two of five save chances and yielded five earned runs through seven games this month. On the year, he owns 12 saves and 10 holds to go along with a 3.79 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 72:35 K:BB across 54.2 innings.
