Marte went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Brewers.

Marte tied the game with a homer in the second inning off of Shane Drohan that just stayed fair down the left-field line. This was Marte's second time going yard in his last six games, and all five of his home runs this season have come since the Reds recalled him from Triple-A Louisville in early June. Since getting called back up to the majors, the 24-year-old has a .225/.286/.493 slash line with nine extra-base hits, three steals, eight RBI and 11 runs in 22 games.

Drohan did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Reds, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk with seven strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Drohan notched another successful start since becoming a member of the Brewers' rotation on June 1, with the Reds' only two runs coming on a Noelvi Marte homer in the second inning. The lefty Drohan has now given up three runs or fewer in five of his six starts and carries a 3.12 ERA and 59:18 K:BB on the season. The 27-year-old could return to the bullpen when Logan Henderson (back) is ready to come off the IL, but Drohan has pitched well enough to keep himself in the rotation conversation.

Abbott did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Brewers, giving up two runs on five hits and five walks over five innings. He struck out three.

Abbott got off to a bumpy start with two runs allowed during the first inning, but he followed that up with four scoreless frames. The lefty set a season high with five walks and has now issued at least three free passes in three of his past four starts. The walks led to an inefficient showing, as Abbott needed 96 pitches (54 strikes) to record just 15 outs. Following a string of three straight quality starts, he hasn't made it through the sixth inning during any of his past four outings.

Mullins went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Royals.

Mullins is on a power surge, going yard three times in his past four outings. The 31-year-old center fielder is also riding a decent six-game hitting streak, but he still has plenty of work to do to enhance his season numbers. Through 281 plate appearances, Mullins is slashing .212/.291/.347 with nine homers, 27 RBI, 13 stolen bases and 29 runs scored.

O'Neill went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the White Sox.

The veteran outfielder launched his first homer Wednesday since May 16 in Washington. With Dylan Beavers recently returning from the injured list, O'Neill is likely to remain stuck in a part-time role in the outfield going forward. O'Neill is slugging a career-low .295 this season and is also batting a paltry .187 with three homers, six doubles and nine RBI over 159 plate appearances.

Rosario went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-2 extra-innings loss the Tigers.

Rosario went deep for the third time in his past eight games Wednesday. The veteran utility man has started seven consecutive games for the banged-up Yankees, but he could get squeezed for playing time once Trent Grisham (hamstring) and Ryan McMahon (illness) come off the injured list. Through 153 plate appearances, Rosario is slashing .250/.294/.486 with nine homers, four doubles, 27 RBI and 20 runs scored.

Kelly earned the save in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Royals, allowing one hit and no walks with no strikeouts over 1.1 scoreless innings.

Kelly entered the game with two outs in the eighth inning and induced a ground out off the bat of Bobby Witt to strand runners on first and second. The right-hander came back out for the ninth and worked around a leadoff single to earn his fourth save of the year. Kelly has been solid overall this season, typically working in a set-up role ahead of Bryan Baker, posting a 2.42 ERA with a 0.92 WHIP and 30:7 K:BB across 39.1 innings.

Wheeler did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Pirates, allowing four runs on nine hits and a walk across 4.2 innings. He struck out 10.

It was an odd start for Wheeler, as he set a season high with 10 strikeouts but also gave up a season-high 10 hits while failing to make it through five innings for the first time this year. The poor showing also ended a three-start win streak. Overall, the 36-year-old Wheeler is 8-1 with a 2.36 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 84:20 K:BB across 13 starts (80 innings). He's currently lined up to face the Reds on the road in his next outing.

Benge went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 9-3 loss the Blue Jays.

Benge pushed his hitting streak up to seven games and his on-base streak to 14 on Wednesday. The rookie outfielder is serving as the Mets' primary right fielder, though it'll be interesting to see if the eventual return of Luis Robert (back) will result in an adverse effect on Benge's playing time. Through 343 plate appearances, Benge is slashing a middling .259/.318/.402 with 10 homers, 34 RBI, 11 stolen bases and 45 runs scored.

Skenes (6-8) took the loss Wednesday against the Phillies, allowing eight runs (seven earned) on six hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out five.

Five of the runs charged to Skenes came in the second inning, which was capped by Trea Turner's three-run homer. The 24-year-old Skenes has now gone nine straight starts without a win, posting a 5.36 ERA across 47 frames in what's been the first extended rut of his MLB career. Overall, Skenes sports a 3.62 ERA with a 1.01 WHIP and 119:22 K:BB across 18 starts (97 innings) this season. His next start is tentatively scheduled to come against Atlanta at home.
