Cruz (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday.

Cruz has missed more than a month of action with right shoulder tendinitis but is ready to test things out in a game setting. As long as things go well, the righty reliever shouldn't require too many rehab outings before being reinstated from the 15-day injured list.

McAdoo is slashing .278/.359/.498 with 13 home runs, 20 steals and a 26.1 percent strikeout rate in his last 67 games for Double-A New Hampshire.

The 23-year-old corner infielder had a .550 OPS over his first 48 games this year for the Fisher Cats, so it's been a tale of two seasons for McAdoo. A third baseman by trade, McAdoo saw more time at first base (11 starts) than he had in previous seasons, so he'll have to at least produce enough offense to make up for poor defense at third base or a move to first base. He's up to 179 career games at Double-A, so the righty-hitting McAdoo should head to Triple-A for the start of the 2026 season.

The Red Sox will place May on the 15-day injured list Tuesday due to an undisclosed injury, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

May had been scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Athletics, but the Red Sox will now call up Connelly Early from Triple-A Worcester to take the hill instead. Though the nature of May's injury isn't known, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com relays that it's not considered serious, so the right-hander could have a shot to return later this month. May has been inconsistent during his time in Boston, posting a 5.40 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and 26:13 K:BB over 28.1 innings.

The Red Sox will call up Early from Triple-A Worcester to start Tuesday's game versus the Athletics in Sacramento, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Dustin May had been scheduled for the start but is headed to the 15-day injured list with an undisclosed injury. Early has collected a 2.60 ERA and 132:40 K:BB over 100.1 innings between Double-A Portland and Worcester this season. The left-hander is more of a high-floor than a high-ceiling prospect, and he will be making his MLB debut in a tough environment for pitchers, making him a risky streaming option in fantasy.

Story went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 7-0 win over the Athletics.

Story homered in the first inning, and that's all Red Sox ace Garrett Crochet needed. It was the 24th home run of the season for Story, who has six multi-hit efforts, four home runs and a .998 OPS over his last 13 games.

Coulombe (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment at Double-A Frisco on Friday, MLB.com reports.

Coulombe last pitched Aug. 26 against the Angels, when he allowed a pair of home runs. He'll join Frisco for its final three games of the regular season. That gives the left-handed reliever ample opportunity to prepare for a potential activation Sept. 16, the earliest date on which he could return.

Garcia (quadriceps) could be activated in time for the three-game series in Houston that begins Sept. 15, MLB.com reports.

The Rangers are buoyed by the progress Garcia's made since he was placed on the 10-day injured list. A return Sept. 15 (next Monday) contradicts an earlier report that suggested a possible return Friday, the earliest point at which he could be activated.

Munoz picked up the save in Monday's 4-2 win over the Cardinals. He allowed no hits and a walk while striking out two over a scoreless inning.

The hard-throwing righty made quick work of St. Louis, issuing only a one-out walk to Ivan Herrera before striking out Alec Burleson and Nolan Gorman to secure his 33rd save of the season. It was Munoz's first outing since Aug. 31, as Seattle's schedule since then featured a four-game losing skid followed by back-to-back blowout wins over Atlanta that didn't require his services.

Woo (13-7) earned the win Monday, allowing two runs on three hits and no walks over six innings in a 4-2 victory over St. Louis. He struck out nine.

Woo delivered six strong innings Monday, halting a brief two-start stretch of shorter outings after previously going six-plus in each of his first 25 starts. The right-hander has been one of MLB's most reliable arms this season, compiling a 3.02 ERA and 0.95 WHIP across 175.2 innings in 28 starts. While not overpowering with strikeouts (9.1 K/9), his nine punchouts Monday tied a season high, and his elite command (1.7 BB/9) continues to fuel his consistency.

Keaschall went 3-for-6 with two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 12-3 victory over the Angels.

Keaschall kept producing Monday, turning in the third three-hit effort of his young career. The rookie second baseman has taken full advantage of his opportunities in the majors, batting .329/.409/.486 with an .895 OPS, 10 doubles, four homers and 24 RBI through 37 contests. While it's been a difficult year for the Twins as a whole, Keaschall has stood out as one of the bright spots and a player the franchise can be excited about moving forward.
