Pfaadt was removed from Saturday's game against the Padres after being struck in the foot by a comebacker in the fifth inning, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Luis Arraez hit a 98-mph comebacker at Pfaadt that ended up hitting the 25-year-old pitcher in the left foot/ankle area. Pfaadt allowed one run on seven hits and no walks with six strikeouts over 4.1 innings prior to exiting. The Diamondbacks will likely send Pfaadt in for imaging.

Anderson (8-8) earned the win over the Cubs on Saturday, allowing three hits and no walks while striking out 10 over eight scoreless innings.

Anderson was magnificent, generating an eye-popping 22 swinging strikes and a season-high 10 punchouts. He leaned on his changeup, throwing it 30 times and accumulating 11 whiffs. The southpaw responded in a major way after allowing a season-high six earned runs last Sunday. He now owns a 2.81 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 77:47 K:BB over 112 innings this season and lines up for a home matchup with the Mariners next week.

Ryan (6-5) earned the win against the Astros on Saturday, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk with eight strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Ryan surrendered a run in the third inning and a two-run homer in the fourth while receiving plenty of early run support from his teammates. He generated 15 swinging strikes on 110 pitches and has completed at least five frames in each of his 18 starts this season. On the year, the 28-year-old owns an impressive 3.29 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 118:16 K:BB through 109.1 innings and lines up to face the Giants next week.

Brown (6-6) took the loss against the Twins on Saturday, allowing seven runs on 12 hits and one walk with six strikeouts over six innings.

Brown entered Saturday on an impressive run of eight consecutive quality starts, but the Twins jumped him early for seven runs over the first three innings. He battled to finish with three scoreless frames but ultimately endured his worst outing since allowing six earned runs against Cleveland on April 30. The 25-year-old owns a 4.48 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 100:36 K:BB over 92.1 innings this season and will try to rebound against the Rangers next week.

Cole did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 14-4 win against the Red Sox, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks with eight strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Cole allowed three runs in a 27-pitch third inning and was pulled in the fifth after surrendering a solo home run to Rafael Devers. The righty generated an impressive 14 swinging strikes and was pushed to 90 pitches for the second consecutive outing, but he labored at times and has completed five innings only once in his first four starts of the season. The 33-year-old owns a 6.75 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 19:8 K:BB over 17.1 innings and lines up for a road matchup with the Orioles next week.

Rodriguez's (shoulder) MRI came back clean Saturday, and he's expected to throw a bullpen session soon, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Saturday's follow-up MRI confirmed that Rodriguez's shoulder has fully healed and marked the southpaw's final checkpoint to clear before beginning mound work. The 31-year-old hasn't pitched in 2024 and will require a lengthy ramp-up period that includes a rehab assignment before being activated from the injured list. Still, Rodriguez could be back in late July or early August.

The Padres placed Darvish (elbow) on the restricted list Saturday, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Darvish has been on the injured list since the beginning of June due to a groin strain and right elbow inflammation, but he will now move to the restricted list as he deals with a personal matter. The Padres didn't provide any information regarding how long the 37-year-old might be away from the team.

Yamamoto (shoulder) will begin playing catch next week, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Yamamoto has been shut down from throwing since being diagnosed with a right rotator cuff strain June 16, but he will resume a throwing program in the coming days. The 25-year-old is no longer feeling pain in his shoulder and seems to be on track for an August return.

Falter was removed from his start Saturday against the Mets due to left posterior arm discomfort.

Falter was only able to get through two innings before making an early exit, surrendering three earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two batters. The Pirates' medical staff will take him in for further testing, and the team will likely have a better idea of his availability for his next start once his results come back.

The Royals reinstated Bubic (elbow) from the 60-day injured list Saturday.

Bubic has been on the injured list all season while working his way back from the Tommy John procedure he underwent last April. In nine rehab appearances with Triple-A Omaha, the 26-year-old lefty posted a 2.63 ERA and 1.22 WHIP over 27.1 innings. He'll transition to the bullpen as he returns to Kansas City and will likely serve in a multi-inning relief role. Walter Pennington was optioned to Omaha in order to make room on the active roster, and Colin Selby was DFA'd to clear a 40-man spot.
