Singer (1-2) allowed one earned run on three hits and no walks while striking out eight across seven innings to earn the win Saturday against the Tigers.

Singer's lone blemish was a solo home run off the bat of Willi Castro in the fifth inning. He cruised through the Tigers' lineup otherwise, generating 15 swinging strikes across 93 total pitches. Since surrendering five earned runs during his first start of the season, Singer has allowed only two earned runs across 18 innings. He projects to take his next turn through the rotation Friday at Minnesota.

Bassitt (2-2) allowed two earned runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out eight across six innings, earning the win Saturday against the Orioles.

Bassitt gave up two runs in his third straight start Saturday. His last two starts are nearly identical, as he allowed two runs in six innings while striking out eight. That is a quality stat line if the 32-year-old can keep it up. However, he struggled more in his first three starts, surrendering nine earned runs in 16.1 innings with 11 strikeouts and eight walks.

Giolito (finger) will start Tuesday against Detroit, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Giolito was pushed back from Sunday's start with a cut that he suffered on his finger. However, the injury won't keep him out long term, as he is the confirmed starter for the team's opening game of its series against Detroit.

Giolito will not start Sunday against the Rangers, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Though the move was reportedly not related to injury originally, it was later revealed that Giolito cut his finger on a bottle, according to Scott Merkin of MLB.com. It remains unclear when Giolito will take the mound next, though it could be for the first game of the team's series against Detroit on Tuesday. Michael Kopech will take the mound in Giolito's place Sunday against Texas.

Kopech will start Sunday's game against the Rangers, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Lucas Giolito was expected to work Sunday's game, but the team will instead opt to give Kopech his second start of the season. Kopech threw only 41 pitches across three innings in his first start of the campaign, leaving it unclear how deep he will be able to work this time around. He has provided quality innings while on the mound, amassing a 1.69 ERA with a 17:4 K:BB across 10.2 frames.

Eovaldi (3-2) picked up the loss Saturday against Seattle, giving up five runs (four earned) in five innings, striking out three while walking one and allowing seven hits.

The Mariners jumped on Eovaldi early and often. Four runners reached base in the first inning on three singles and a hit by pitch, with Eovaldi lucky to escape with just one run on the board. He gave up three more in the second thanks for a Kyle Seager triple and a wild pitch, with one more run scoring on an error in the fifth. Eovaldi's first four outings were strong enough that he still owns a 3.77 ERA on the year.

Flexen improved to 2-1 on the season Saturday against the Red Sox, striking out seven in seven innings while allowing just one run on four hits and a walk.

Flexen held the hosts scoreless for 6.2 innings before allowing an RBI single to Marwin Gonzalez. The 26-year-old's time in Korea last year appears to have served him very well, as his 2.74 ERA and 21:5 K:BB through his first four starts this season look nothing like his 8.07 ERA and 49:54 K:BB from his first three partial seasons with the Mets.

Boyd (2-2) allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits across eight innings but took the loss Saturday against the Royals. He struck out three and did not issue any walks.

Boyd got virtually no support in this one, as the Detroit bats mustered only three hits and one run. Still, the lefty was able to continue his strong start to the season. Through five starts, Boyd has a sparkling 1.82 ERA, though he's managed just 22 strikeouts across 34.2 innings. He had a K/9 of 9.0 or better in each of the last two seasons, so perhaps the whiffs will start to come. Boyd will look to keep things rolling in his next scheduled outing Thursday against the White Sox.

Odorizzi exited his Saturday start against the Angels due to right forearm tightness, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Odorizzi faced just one batter in Saturday's contest prior to his removal. It's not yet clear whether the injury will force the right-hander to miss any additional time, but Kent Emanuel replaced him in Saturday's game and could step in as a starter if Odorizzi is unable to make his next start.

Odorizzi left his Saturday start against the Angels with an apparent arm injury, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Odorizzi faced just a single batter before exiting the game. The exact nature of his injury remains unclear, but it's certainly not a good sign for a pitcher who was limited by multiple injuries to just 13.2 innings last season. Kent Emanuel replaced him out of the bullpen Saturday and could be in line to take his spot in the rotation should he require an extended absence.
