Severino (lat) completed a bullpen session Sunday with no issues, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Severino recently progressed to mound work and has now thrown three bullpen sessions in the past week. The right-hander should soon progress to facing live hitters, which should be his final step before heading out on a rehab assignment.

McCullers (forearm) threw long toss Sunday and could begin throwing off a mound before the end of April, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The right-hander has been throwing mostly fastballs but is also close to integrating his offspeed pitches. McCullers doesn't have a clear timetable to be activated from the injured list, but his return to mound work will be a significant step in his rehab progress.

Manoah (1-1) took the loss Sunday, allowing seven runs on nine hits and four walks over 4.2 innings during a 8-1 loss to the Rays. He struck out five.

Manoah walked two, hit a batter and served up a single to start the game and was ultimately tagged for three runs in the first inning. He was able to settle down after the shaky start and posted three scoreless frames before getting into trouble again in the fifth. After striking out the first two hitters of the inning, Manoah allowed five consecutive batters to reach, including a three-run homer by Christian Bethancourt, before getting pulled in favor of Zach Pop. Manoah currently sports a 6.98 ERA and has a questionable 16:15 K:BB. He has just one quality start through four starts this season.

McClanahan (4-0) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over six innings during a 8-1 victory over the Blue Jays. He struck out six.

McClanahan was spotted a three-run lead to start the game, but he allowed the first three batters to reach in the bottom of the first, including an RBI single by Vladimir Guerrero. However, the left-hander got out of the inning by retiring the next three hitters and then cruised through five scoreless frames. McClanahan has four wins in as many tries and currently sports a 1.57 ERA with a 27:11 K:BB through 23 innings.

Prielipp is on the 7-day injured list at High-A Cedar Rapids while the team evaluates his surgically repaired left elbow, sportswriter Jeff Johnson reports.

The 48th overall pick in last year's draft, Prielipp made his first pro start April 8, giving up three earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three in four innings. He had Tommy John surgery in 2021 and threw only 28 innings during his time at Alabama.

Detmers (0-1) took the loss Sunday, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk over 6.1 innings during a 2-1 loss to Boston. He struck out seven.

Aside from a go-ahead, two-run homer from Justin Turner in the third, Detmers was sharp and struck out at least seven for the second time over his first three starts. However, he couldn't get ample run support and suffered his first loss of the season. Though three outings (16 innings), Detmers has allowed eight earned runs, including two homers, but he has a solid 19:6 K:BB. The left-hander's next start is tentatively scheduled during the Angels' upcoming three-game set versus the Royals.

Whitlock (1-1) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over seven innings in a 2-1 win over the Angels. He struck out five.

Whitlock's lone blemish came in the second inning on a leadoff double by Anthony Rendon and a two-out, RBI single by Brandon Drury. Aside from that, the young right-hander was superb through seven innings and earned his first win of the season. Whitlock was knocked around in his season debut, but he got back on track Sunday and will look to build off his strong performance during his next start, which is tentatively scheduled for the finale of a three-game set in Baltimore.

Berrios (knee) is listed as Toronto's probable starter for Wednesday's game at Houston, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The right-hander exited Friday's start against the Rays after being struck in the knee by an 111.8-mph comebacker, but it appears he's been cleared to make his next turn through the rotation. The injury was tough luck for Berrios, who allowed just one run across five innings Friday after he posted an 11.17 ERA in his first two starts of the season.

Gibson did not factor in the decision Saturday versus the White Sox, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks with one strikeout in 5.1 innings.

It was Gibson's first start of the season that ended without a win. He threw 58 of 96 pitches for strikes, so he was a little less effective than usual. He's posted a 4.18 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 13:6 K:BB over 23.2 innings across his four starts this season. Gibson is projected for a home start versus the Tigers in his next outing.

Hancock has allowed just one earned run on seven hits and recorded 13 strikeouts over nine innings across his first two starts for Double-A Arkansas.

The talented right-hander got his season started with five scoreless innings against Corpus Christi during which he recorded seven strikeouts, and he followed it up by limiting Springfield to an earned run on four hits across four frames on Friday. Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports Hancock's fastball was consistently in the 93-95 mph range and generated plenty of swings and misses in his first start, indicating the 2020 first-round pick seems to be at full strength after struggling with a right shoulder impingement and strained lat muscle in 2021 and 2022, respectively. "Big time arrow up, trending right direction, whatever you want to call it from him," Mariners manager Scott Servais said. "I thought the velocity was better than what I was expecting to see. He looked very healthy."
