Athletics' Mason Miller: Secures ninth save

Miller issued a walk in a scoreless inning and earned a save against Texas on Monday. He struck out one batter.

Miller put Marcus Semien on base with a four-pitch walk to begin the ninth inning but avoided any danger and closed out the 2-1 win. Miller has now converted all nine of his save chances this season. He's delivered two straight scoreless appearances after coughing up two runs against the White Sox on Friday. Miller owns a terrific 22:2 K:BB with a 1.64 ERA through 11 innings.

  • Emilio Pagan RP | CIN

Reds' Emilio Pagan: Secures save Monday

Pagan threw a perfect inning to earn a save against the Cardinals on Monday.

Pagan quickly rolled through St. Louis' 2-3-4 hitters on just seven pitches. He's now converted four consecutive saves and eight of his nine save chances this season. No other Reds bullpen arm has recorded a save since April 7. Pagan lowered his ERA to 2.51 with a 14:2 K:BB through 14.1 frames.

  • Felix Bautista RP | BAL

Orioles' Felix Bautista: Picks up save

Bautista struck out two batters in a perfect inning and earned a save against the Yankees on Monday.

Bautista threw eight of 14 pitches for strikes and had no trouble retiring the Yankees' 1-2-3 batters to close out the 4-3 win. He's earned a save in three straight appearances and has converted all four of his chances this season. Bautista's six-inning scoreless streak has dropped his ERA to 2.25 with a 10:6 K:BB through eight frames.

  • Jose Urena SP | LAA

Mets' Jose Urena: Notches three-inning save

Urena picked up a three-inning save in Monday's 19-5 victory over the Nationals, allowing five runs on seven hits and a walk. He struck out three.

The veteran journeyman collected his sixth career save in this blowout win, firing 68 total pitches to absorb innings for the rest of the bullpen. Urena was added to the Mets' roster Sunday as A.J. Minter (lat) was placed on the injured list. The 33-year-old Urena is set to sop up more innings for New York while he is on the team, as he now sports a career 4.80 ERA.

  • Drey Jameson RP | ARI

Diamondbacks' Drey Jameson: Demoted to Triple-A

Jameson was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Monday, Aaron Hughes of SI.com reports.

Jameson appeared in three games during his stint with the big-league club, one of which resulted in his first save April 20 against the Cubs. This move will presumably clear a roster spot for the return of Kevin Ginkel (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list, though the club has yet to officially announce a corresponding move.

  • Noah Davis SP | PIT

Dodgers' Noah Davis: Called up Monday

Davis was called up from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Davis will return to the major-league roster after being sent down Saturday, replacing Tyler Glasnow (shoulder), who was placed on the 15-day injured list Monday. Davis has appeared in three games with Los Angeles this season, giving up three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out three batters over 2.2 innings. The right-hander will serve as an additional option out of the bullpen for the Dodgers and it's unclear at this point who will replace Glasnow in the starting rotation.

  • Paul Sewald RP | ARI

Guardians' Paul Sewald: Dealing with shoulder inflammation

Sewald left Monday's game against the Twins due to right shoulder inflammation, Chris Assenheimer of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Sewald was lifted from Monday's appearance after retiring a pair of Minnesota batters, and further evaluation revealed inflammation in his throwing shoulder. The team will presumably wait to see how he feels Tuesday and could send him for additional scans before making a decision on whether a trip to the injured list is necessary.

  • Blake Treinen RP | LAD

Dodgers' Blake Treinen: Still shut down from throwing

Treinen (forearm) has not yet been cleared to resume throwing, Matthew Moreno of DodgerBlue.com reports.

Manager Dave Roberts stated Monday that the club isn't in any hurry to move Treinen along before he's ready, and he'll remain shut down for an undisclosed period of time. Treinen was officially placed on the 15-day injured list April 19 with right forearm tightness and is eligible to return later in the week, though it appears he'll miss more than the minimum while on the mend.

  • Paul Sewald RP | ARI

Guardians' Paul Sewald: Departs with injury Monday

Sewald (undisclosed) was forced to exit Monday's contest against the Twins in the top of the fifth inning, Chris Assenheimer of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Sewald entered the game in the top of the fifth with the Guardians trailing 4-0, subsequently retiring the first two batters he faced, one of which he struck out. The right hander then delivered a first-pitch 90.7 mph fastball to Ryan Jeffers, which missed the zone. Sewald then appeared to be in some discomfort, exiting the game with one of Cleveland's trainers. Tim Herrin replaced him on the mound and more information on Sewald's status will likely come following Monday's contest.

  • Rangers' Daniel Robert: Designated for assignment

The Rangers designated Robert for assignment Monday.

The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for Dane Dunning, whose contract was selected Monday. Robert got into four games with the Rangers last season but has spent all of the 2025 campaign at Triple-A Round Rock, where he's allowed four runs (two earned) with a 17:4 K:BB over 11.2 innings.
