Orioles' Colin Selby: Sent to minors
The Orioles optioned Selby to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.
Selby was recalled by Baltimore on Thursday and will return to Norfolk to make roster space for Zach Eflin (lat) to come off the injured list. Selby has made three appearances in the big leagues this season and has given up two earned runs with a 5:1 K:BB over 3.2 innings.

Juan Mejia RP | COL
Rockies' Juan Mejia: Bumped down to Triple-A
The Rockies optioned Mejia to Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.
Mejia was unlikely to be available for the next couple of days after he gave up seven runs (four earned) in 1.1 innings and tossed 44 pitches in Saturday's 21-0 loss to the Padres, so the Rockies opted to replace him on the 26-man roster. Colorado called up lefty Ryan Rolison to take Mejia's spot in the bullpen.

Ryan Rolison RP | CHC
Rockies' Ryan Rolison: Receives call-up
The Rockies selected Rolison's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.
Rolison will be making his MLB debut when he gets into a game. He was previously a member of the Rockies' 40-man roster during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, but his standing in the organization fell after he struggled to bounce back from June 2022 shoulder surgery. Though Colorado initially developed him as a starter, Rolison made the full-time transition to relief in 2024 and has found some success. Over 12 appearances in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League this season, Rolison has delivered a 3.72 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and 23:7 K:BB over 19.1 innings.

Logan VanWey RP | HOU
Astros' Logan VanWey: Returns to Triple-A
The Astros optioned VanWey to Triple-A Sugar Land on Sunday.
The right-hander was called up by Houston on Friday and will return to Triple-A after giving up five runs over two innings Saturday versus the Reds. VanWey is being sent down to create roster space for Shawn Dubin (shoulder), who was reinstated from the injured list.

Shawn Dubin RP | ARI
Astros' Shawn Dubin: Comes back from IL
The Astros reinstated Dubin (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list Sunday.
Houston optioned fellow righty reliever Logan VanWey to Triple-A Sugar Land to open up a spot in the bullpen for Dubin, who had been on the shelf all season due to right shoulder inflammation. After giving up just one earned run while striking out nine over five innings during his rehab assignment with Sugar Land and Double-A Corpus Christi, Dubin looks poised to handle a middle-relief role.

Ryan Gusto P | MIA
Astros' Ryan Gusto: Rejoining rotation Monday
Gusto will start Monday's game against the Royals in Houston, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Gusto made his latest appearance in relief May 4 against the White Sox, giving up three unearned runs while recording two outs. Prior to that outing, Gusto had made four consecutive starts and was generally impressive, going 2-1 with a 3.79 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 20:4 K:BB in 19 innings. The Astros will reopen a starting role for Gusto as a result of Hayden Wesneski (elbow) landing on the injured list Friday.

Ryan Yarbrough RP | NYY
Yankees' Ryan Yarbrough: Starting Sunday
Yarbrough is starting Sunday's game against the Athletics, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.
The left-hander will make another spot start after Carlos Carrasco was DFA'd on Tuesday. Yarbrough has pitched well as a swingman with a 3.72 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 18:9 K:BB across 19.1 innings. He set season highs with 64 pitches across four frames in his previous outing May 3 and is likely to have a similar workload Sunday in Sacramento.

Caleb Freeman RP | CHW
White Sox's Caleb Freeman: Dispatched to Triple-A
The White Sox optioned Freeman to Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday.
He'll give up his spot on the 26-man roster to right-hander Yoendrys Gomez, whom the White Sox claimed off waivers Saturday from the Dodgers. Freeman made four relief appearances in his first look at big-league hitters and was charged with two earned runs on four hits and one walk over 2.1 innings.

Elvis Peguero RP | CHW
Brewers' Elvis Peguero: Moves up to big leagues
The Brewers recalled Peguero from Triple-A Nashville on Sunday.
Milwaukee sent starter Tobias Myers to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Peguero was a staple of the Milwaukee bullpen in 2024, but the 28-year-old righty posted a 5.68 ERA and 1.74 WHIP in five appearances to begin the season before being optioned to Nashville on April 11. The right-hander has performed better over the past month at Triple-A, giving up two earned runs on six hits and four walks over eight innings across seven appearances.

Randy Rodriguez RP | SF
Giants' Randy Rodriguez: Fans three Saturday
Rodriguez struck out the side in a scoreless eighth inning during Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Twins.
Rodriguez tossed his fourth consecutive scoreless outing Saturday, throwing 10 of his 12 pitches for strikes in an extremely efficient effort. The right-hander has allowed just two earned runs all season, both of which came in a loss to the Padres on April 29. The 25-year-old owns a 1.08 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and a 24:2 K:BB across 16.2 innings in 16 appearances.
