The Red Sox reinstated Burdi (hip) from the injured list Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A Worcester.

A bruised foot caused Burdi to land on the injured list June 3, but a hip injury suffered at Worcester caused him to move to the 60-day IL. He'll now come off the IL following a minimum-length stay, though the Red Sox will keep him in the minors for the time being. The 32-year-old has thrown 5.1 shutout innings for Boston this season and sports a 1.23 ERA through 22 Triple-A frames.

The Red Sox reinstated Kelly (oblique) from the injured list Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A Worcester.

The Red Sox originally sent Kelly down to the minors in late June, but his option was rescinded when he landed on the injured list with an oblique injury. Now that he's been given a clean bill of health, he'll head down to Triple-A once more and serve as organizational bullpen depth.

Urena will start Sunday's game against Cleveland, Bobby Nightengale of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

The 33-year-old righty will be filling in for Simeon Woods Richardson, whom the Twins will give a few extra days of rest before his next start. Urena has pitched to a 5.40 ERA and 1.53 WHIP across 18.1 innings between the Dodgers, Mets and Blue Jays this season, and he'll likely aim to get through three or four frames Sunday before turning the game over to Minnesota's bullpen.

The White Sox reinstated Scholtens (elbow) from the injured list Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A Charlotte.

Scholtens has been on the shelf all season while working his way back from the Tommy John procedure he underwent last March. He posted a 5.25 ERA and 1.31 WHIP over 36 innings between High-A and Triple-A during his rehab assignment, and he'll officially remain in Charlotte as organizational depth now that he's fully recovered.

Since being sent down to Triple-A in late June, White has allowed 11 runs (10 earned) over 17 innings across four starts. Despite his subpar performance, he'll come up from the minors to make up for the loss of Dan Altavilla (lat). White will presumably take on a long-relief role out of the bullpen.

The White Sox placed Altavilla on the 15-day injured list Saturday with a right lat strain.

Altavilla gave up one run in just one-third of an inning during his appearance Friday, and it appears he came away from his outing with a lat injury. He'll now be forced to miss at least the next 15 days while he recovers, and the White Sox will bring up Owen White from Triple-A Charlotte to fill the void in their bullpen.

The Tigers optioned Hanifee to Triple-A Toledo on Saturday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

After giving up two runs (one earned) and taking the loss Friday, Hanifee will be sent down to the minors in order to make room for the newly acquired Charlie Morton. Hanifee still boasts a 3.10 ERA and 1.32 WHIP through 52.1 innings in 2025, making it likely he'll put on a Tigers uniform again before the end of the season.

The Reds optioned Richardson to Triple-A Louisville following Friday's game against Atlanta.

Richardson will cede his spot on the 26-man active roster to right-hander Zack Littell, whom Cincinnati acquired from Tampa Bay prior to Thursday's trade deadline. Richardson has spent most of the season in the majors and has a 4.15 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 27:19 K:BB across 34.2 innings this season out of the bullpen.

The Pirates recalled Moreta from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday.

Moreta was reinstated from the injured list in mid-June after fully recovering from Tommy John surgery in May of 2024. He has pitched well in Triple-A this season with a 2.56 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 48:19 K:BB across 31.2 innings, and his return to the majors will bolster the Pirates' bullpen. Thomas Harrington was optioned to Triple-A following Friday's game against the Rockies in a corresponding move.

The Rockies recalled Rolison from Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday.

Rolison will take the spot on the 26-man roster vacated by Antonio Senzatela (finger), who was placed on the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move. Rolison has a 3.22 ERA and 1.49 WHIP in Triple-A this season, but that success hasn't translated to the majors, where he has a 7.34 ERA, 1.76 WHIP and 18:15 K:BB across 30.2 innings.
