Jose Castillo RP | BAL
Jose Castillo: Non-tendered by Mets
The Mets non-tendered Castillo on Friday.
Just two weeks after claiming Castillo off waivers from Baltimore, the Mets will now send him into free agency. The 29-year-old southpaw posted a 3.94 ERA and 1.69 WHIP across 32 innings between four different teams in 2025. He'll now have an opportunity to pick where he begins the 2026 campaign, though he may have to settle for a minor-league deal.

Jacob Webb RP | TEX
Jacob Webb: Cut loose by Texas
The Rangers non-tendered Webb on Friday.
Webb signed a one-year deal with the Rangers in December after spending the 2024 campaign with the Orioles, but the 32-year-old right-hander will now be on the lookout for a team in need of bullpen depth. He finished the 2025 regular season with seven holds along with a 3.00 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 58:19 K:BB across 66 innings.

Josh Sborz RP | TEX
Josh Sborz: Non-tendered by Texas
The Rangers non-tendered Sborz on Friday.
Sborz started the 2025 season on the 60-day injured list after undergoing surgery on his right shoulder in November of 2024. He was able to begin a rehab stint in July but was unable to progress enough in his recovery to see major-league action. Sborz will now enter free agency and will look to sign with a team in need of right-handed depth out of the bullpen.

Taylor Clarke RP | KC
Taylor Clarke: Parts ways with Royals
The Royals non-tendered Clarke on Friday.
Clarke enjoyed the best season of his MLB career in 2025, turning in a 3.25 ERA and 0.85 WHIP alongside a 44:9 K:BB across 55.1 innings. Despite his success, the Royals will elect to let the 32-year-old righty enter free agency, where his breakout campaign is likely to draw some interest from bullpen-needy teams.

Josh Winckowski RP | BOS
Josh Winckowski: Non-tendered by BoSox
The Red Sox non-tendered Winckowski (elbow) on Friday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
Winckowski was pushed off Boston's 40-man roster Tuesday and will now exit the organization altogether after not receiving a contract offer for 2026. The 27-year-old allowed five earned runs in 11.2 innings with the Red Sox in April before being sent down to Triple-A, where he ended the season on the injured list after suffering an elbow strain in mid-May. It's unclear whether he'll be ready for the start of spring training.

Evan Phillips RP | LAD
Evan Phillips: Parts ways with LAD
The Dodgers did not tender Phillips (elbow) a contract for 2026 on Friday, making him a free agent, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
The right-hander made just seven appearances in 2025 before undergoing Tommy John surgery in June, which will sideline him for at least the first half of the 2026 campaign. According to Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times, the Dodgers are interested in re-signing Phillips at a lower salary.

Albert Suarez RP | BAL
Albert Suarez: Non-tendered by O's
The Orioles non-tendered Suarez (forearm) on Friday.
Suarez turned in a 2.31 ERA and 0.94 WHIP over 11.2 innings in 2025 while healthy, though that was a rare occasion, as he missed five months of the year with a shoulder injury before landing on the injured list again in September with a flexor strain in his right forearm. The 36-year-old righty posted a 3.70 ERA and 1.29 WHIP over 133.2 frames during his latest full season in 2024, which could still be enough to draw interest from other clubs in free agency.
-
Joey Lucchesi RP | SF
Joey Lucchesi: Non-tendered by San Francisco
The Giants non-tendered Lucchesi on Friday, making him a free agent, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.
The left-hander was a solid middle reliever for the Giants last year with a 3.76 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 31:12 K:BB over 38.1 innings, but the organization elected not to tender him a contract for 2026. Lucchesi should be able to secure another contract this winter but may not be guaranteed a big-league deal.
-
Daniel Robert RP | PHI
Daniel Robert: Non-tendered by Phillies
The Phillies non-tendered Robert (forearm) on Friday.
Robert made 15 regular-season appearances for the Phillies in 2025 and posted a 4.15 ERA and 1.62 WHIP across 13 innings before ending the year on the IL with a strained right forearm. The 31-year-old righty also turned in a 2.67 ERA over 30.1 minor-league frames, which should be more than enough to attract at least a minor-league deal this winter.
-
Michael Mercado RP | PHI
Michael Mercado: Non-tendered by Philly
The Phillies non-tendered Mercado on Friday.
Mercado's time in the Phillies organization will come to an end after giving up 21 earned runs across just 16 innings in the majors. He finished 2025 with a more respectable 4.68 ERA and 1.60 WHIP across 48 frames at Triple-A and will now likely seek out a minor-league deal during the offseason.
