Thielbar earned the save in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Yankees, allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning. He did not record a walk or a strikeout.

With Jacob Webb used in the eighth inning against the heart of the Yankees' order, Thielbar was called upon to protect a three-run lead in the ninth and worked around a leadoff single to earn his first save since April 21. The 39-year-old Thielbar owns a 3.97 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 43:13 K:BB to go along with seven holds and three saves across 34 innings this season. He shouldn't be counted on as a reliable source of saves going forward with Daniel Palencia (elbow) nearing a rehab assignment.

The Mariners acquired Dominguez, outfielder Nolan Jones and catcher Boston Smith from the White Sox on Saturday in exchange for right-hander Luis Castillo, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Dominguez opened the season as the closer for the White Sox but lost his grip on the job in late June. He'll now head to Seattle, where he'll presumably operate in a middle relief for the Mariners, with Andres Munoz locked in as the closer. Dominguez has a 4.10 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, 12 saves (in 17 chances), four holds and a 45:23 K:BB over 37.1 innings this season.

Atlanta acquired Falter and outfielder Lane Thomas from Kansas City on Saturday in exchange for left-hander Carter Holton and right-hander Lucas Braun, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Falter lost his spot on the Royals' 40-man roster in early June after he was lit up for 15 earned runs on 24 hits and six walks over 9.2 innings in five appearances (two starts). He had righted the ship upon clearing waivers and joining the rotation at Triple-A Omaha, where he had submitted a 3.10 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 26:15 K:BB In 29 innings over his last seven outings. Falter won't regain a 40-man roster spot in Atlanta, but he'll bolster the organization's starting depth at the Triple-A level.

Bachar recorded his second save of the season in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Mets, allowing one hit and striking out two over three scoreless relief innings.

The right-hander needed just 35 pitches (26 strikes) to get the job done and give most of the rest of the Marlins' bullpen a breather. The three innings tied for Bachar's longest appearance of the season, and a bumpy July may have taken him out of the mix for higher-leverage opportunities. Over his last 13.2 innings, Bachar has served up four homers and stumbled to a 6.58 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 13:4 K:BB.

Phillips (3-5) picked up the win Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits over five innings in a 6-2 victory over the Mets. He struck out three without walking a batter.

A Tyrone Taylor homer in the second inning accounted for all the damage off Phillips, who tossed an efficient 65 pitches (44 strikes) before exiting. The right-hander has given up two earned runs or fewer in five straight outings, a stretch in which he's gone just 2-2 but has a 3.54 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 14:6 K:BB over 20.1 innings. Phillips is set to make his next start at home next weekend against the Angels.

Munoz (4-4) picked up the win Saturday in a 4-3 victory over the Twins, giving up a hit and striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.

The closer worked a clean ninth inning in a 3-3 tie and was rewarded for his efforts when Seattle walked it off in the bottom of the frame. It was Munoz's first win since April 22, but he's been plenty effective of late. Over nine appearances and nine innings since the beginning of July, Munoz has produced a 1.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 14:3 K:BB while converting all four of his save chances.

The Dodgers recalled Mills from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Maddie Lee of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Mills spent all of July in Triple-A, where he allowed three hits and one walk while striking out seven across 6.2 innings (six outings). The addition of Mills and Kyle Hurt will bolster the Dodgers' bullpen, with Will Klein (elbow) moving to the 15-day injured list and Cole Irvin being designated for assignment in corresponding moves.

The Dodgers recalled Hurt from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Maddie Lee of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Both Hurt and Mills have been called up from Triple-A, with Will Klein (elbow) moving to the 15-day IL and Cole Irvin being designated for assignment in corresponding moves. Hurt has spent the majority of the 2026 season in the majors, where he has a 4.59 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, eight holds, one save and a 39:18 K:BB over 33.1 innings.

Baker secured the save Saturday against the White Sox, throwing a clean ninth inning. He struck out one.

Baker made things look easy Saturday, landing each of his six pitches for strikes to dispatch the White Sox bats. The All-Star closer extended his scoreless streak to 12 innings as well, and he's given up just two runs in 26 appearances while recording 20 saves since his last blown chance May 13 in Toronto. Through 43.1 frames, Baker boasts a 1.45 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 46:15 K:BB with an MLB-high 31 saves in 34 chances.

The Dodgers designated Irvin for assignment Saturday, Maddie Lee of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Irvin made his 2026 major-league debut Friday, when he took the loss in a bulk-relief role against the Red Sox and allowed six runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out five across six innings. He has spent most of the season with Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he has a 9-6 record across 20 starts with a 3.49 ERA and 1.55 WHIP over 98 innings. In corresponding moves, both Kyle Hurt and Wyatt Mills were recalled from Triple-A while Will Klein (elbow) was placed on the 15-day injured list.
