Ryan Borucki RP | SF
Blue Jays' Ryan Borucki: Allows four runs in loss
Borucki (4-6) was left with the loss Saturday, allowing four runs on seven hits (including two home runs) and three walks in 6.2 innings against the Rays. He struck out three.
Despite the setback, Borucki enters Sunday with 11 quality starts, leading all rookies. Unfortunately, his useful 3.87 ERA on the season looks shaky when paired with his 6.2 K/9 and 3.0 BB/9; the 24-year-old probably was pitching over his head. Still, the 24-year-old will probably get a chance to chew up innings at the back end of Toronto's rotation in 2019, which makes him at least a speculative arm in AL-only fantasy games.

Aroldis Chapman RP | BOS
Yankees' Aroldis Chapman: Picks up 32nd save
Chapman walked one and struck out two over two-thirds of an inning to notch his 32nd save of the season in Saturday's 8-5 win over the Red Sox.
It was the first save since Aug. 14 for the veteran left-hander. Chapman is 32-for-34 in save opportunities and has a 2.45 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 93 strikeouts over 51.1 innings.

Liam Hendriks RP | CHC
Athletics' Liam Hendriks: Will start Saturday
Hendriks will serve as the opener in Saturday's game against the Angels, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
Trevor Cahill was originally penciled in as the traditional starter but will instead be the first arm out of the bullpen with Hendriks taking the first inning. The 29-year-old has a 2.35 ERA and 1.04 WHIP in seven appearances as the opener for the Athletics.

Andrew Kittredge RP | BAL
Rays' Andrew Kittredge: Served with suspension
Kittredge was served a three-game suspension and a fine for throwing at Austin Romine's head Thursday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia was hit with a five-game ban for his retaliatory throw at Jesus Sucre. Both players will serve their suspensions next season.

Ken Giles RP | ATL
Blue Jays' Ken Giles: Notches 26th save
Giles allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to pick up his 26th save of the season in a 7-6 win over the Rays.
While he remains a little more hittable than his raw stuff suggests he should be -- Giles has served up four homers in 19.2 innings since joining the Jays, leading to a 4.12 ERA -- he continues to get the job done, converting all 14 of his save chances for Toronto and staying a perfect 26-for-26 on the season. With two more arbitration-eligible years ahead of him before free agency, Giles should head into next spring locked into the closer role for the Jays.

Brian Johnson RP | BOS
Red Sox's Brian Johnson: Quick exit in spot start
Johnson (4-5) took the loss Friday as the Red Sox fell 11-6 to the Yankees, giving up two runs on three hits and two walks over three innings while striking out two.
The southpaw labored in his first start since Sept. 2, needing 66 pitches (38 strikes) to record only nine outs, and he kicked off a four-homer barrage by the Yankees when Gary Sanchez took him deep in the third inning. Johnson will be ticketed for the bullpen in the playoffs, but his 5.26 ERA in 39.1 innings since the beginning of August -- inflated by a 2.3 HR/9 -- doesn't suggest he'll have a significant role.

Collin McHugh RP | ATL
Astros' Collin McHugh: Works scoreless eighth
McHugh struck out two over a scoreless eighth inning, picking up the hold in Friday's 2-1 win over Baltimore.
McHugh came on in the eighth inning with a one-run lead, typically a spot for Hector Rondon, and set up the save for Roberto Osuna. Seeing McHugh work the eighth inning, instead of Rondon, is a reminder of the bullpen depth at manager A.J. Hinch's disposal.

Hansel Robles RP | LAD
Angels' Hansel Robles: Notches second save
Robles earned the save in Friday's win over the Athletics after pitching a scoreless ninth inning. He allowed one hit and struck out three.
Robles threw all 11 of his pitches for strikes in the impressive showing, and his only blemish was a two-out single to Jed Lowrie before he stuck out Khris Davis on three pitches to end the game. He now owns a 3.70 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with 59 strikeouts over 56 innings on the season.
-
Jaime Barria RP | CLE
Angels' Jaime Barria: Tosses 4.2 innings Friday
Barria settled for a no-decision in Friday's game against the Athletics, allowing no runs and no hits over 4.2 innings with six walks and four strikeouts.
Barria would've likely ended up with a much better outing if he could've limited the free passes, but the six walks he allowed Friday were a season-high. He was pulled after throwing 81 pitches through 4.2 innings, and he's been unable to reach six innings in his last five starts. Assuming Friday was his last appearance of the season, Barria will finish 2018 with a 3.41 ERA (5.00 xFIP) and a shaky 98:47 K:BB ratio over the course of 129.1 innings.

Lou Trivino RP | PHI
Athletics' Lou Trivino: Throws scoreless inning as opener
Trivino didn't factor into the decision in Friday's game against the Angels, throwing a scoreless first inning and allowing no hits or walks.
Trivino served as the opener for the Athletics on Friday, and he only needed 11 pitches to retire the three batters he faced before turning things over to Mike Fiers in the second inning. It was Trivino's first career start at the major-league level, and over the course of 73 innings so far in 2018, he owns a 8-3 record with a 2.96 ERA and 80 strikeouts.
