Lambert (elbow) was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Lambert appears ready for the start of the 2020 season after spending the past 12-plus months working his way back from Tommy John surgery. Seeing as the right-hander has yet to pitch about Double-A, he'll likely be limited to low-leverage work.

Heuer had his contract selected from Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Heuer will get his first taste of the majors in 2020 after spending most of 2019 with Double-A Birmingham, finishing with a 1.84 ERA and 1.09 WHIP across 29.1 innings (22 appearances). Given his lack of prior big-league experience, he'll likely be tasked with lower-leverage work.

Adams (knee) will remain on the 60-day injured list to begin the season, Lauren Smith of The News Tribune reports.

Adams had been working to return to full strength for the regular season after undergoing surgery on a torn ACL in September, but the team will give him more time to recover rather than rushing him back into action. Manager Scott Servais said that the team may have rushed the right-hander too much during camp. "We're slow playing him a little bit," Servais said. It's unclear when Adams could make his debut this season, but he could pitch in higher-leverage situations when he's ready to return.

Hamilton is not on the White Sox's 30-man roster, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Hamilton failed to secure a spot in Chicago's Opening Day bullpen, leaving him to open the season at the team's alternative camp site. The right-hander should provide bullpen depth throughout the shortened 2020 season.

Fulmer was designated for assignment by the White Sox on Thursday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Fulmer will take a spin through waivers after failing to secure a spot for himself in Chicago's Opening Day bullpen. The righty has struggled across parts of four big-league seasons, posting a combined 6.56 ERA and 1.64 WHIP in 94.2 innings.

Pruitt (elbow) was placed on the injured list Thursday, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Pruitt is expected to miss the first week of the season while working his way back from elbow inflammation. Once healthy, the right-hander should factor into the backend of Houston's bullpen at some point in 2020.

The Tigers assigned Ramirez to their alternate training site Thursday.

Ramirez was believed to be in contention for the No. 5 spot in the rotation to begin the season, but Dario Agrazal ultimately beat him out for those duties. The Tigers would need to open a spot on the 40-man roster for Ramirez in order for him to pitch for the big club in 2020.

The Tigers recalled Schreiber from Triple-A Toledo on Thursday.

The transaction reverses one from spring training, when Schreiber was optioned to Toledo shortly before MLB suspended its season. Schreiber earned his way on to the 30-man Opening Day roster after faring well in summer camp, but he likely won't be tasked with handling many high-leverage innings out of the Detroit bullpen.

Heller has been added to the Yankees' active roster.

Heller will open the season in New York's bullpen thanks to expanded rosters. The righty impressed across 7.1 innings with the big club last season, striking out nine while allowing just one run.

Gearrin did not make Minnesota's 30-man Opening Day roster, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Gearrin had an opt-out date in his contract as a non-roster invitee to training camp, but apparently has decided to stay with the Twins. After posting a 1.99 ERA and 1.25 WHIP with the Giants in 2017, Gearrin has struggled over the past two seasons, posting a 3.91 ERA and 1.39 WHIP over 112.2 innings with five clubs over 2018 and 2019. He could be an option early in the season to be called up if there's an opening in the bullpen.
