Graveman is still awaiting the results of tests performed on his neck Monday, and the right-hander could miss his next scheduled start depending on the outcome, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Graveman powered through 4.2 innings versus the Athletics on Sunday despite the soreness he felt limiting the extension on his throwing motion and impacting his velocity. Manager Scott Servais conceded as much to reporters Monday, noting that Graveman, who'd displayed improvement on his power pitch during summer camp and in his first outing of the regular season, wasn't showing "the crispness to his stuff, or velocity" that he'd previously demonstrated. Seattle is already going with a six-man rotation as its standard, so if Graveman is forced to miss his next scheduled start Saturday against the Astros, they could simply cover his absence by utilizing a five-man group for the next turn.

Trivino fired a clean ninth inning in a win over the Mariners on Monday, recording two strikeouts.

Manager Bob Melvin utilized the quintessential low-leverage scenario of a 10-run read to give Trivino a chance to right the ship and get some much-needed work in. The 28-year-old had last logged an appearance six days prior against the Rockies, when he gave up three earned runs on three hits and a walk over an inning. Trivino has sandwiched Monday's effort and another clean frame against the Angels on July 25 around the hiccup against Colorado, leaving him with a bloated 9.00 ERA.

Richards was optioned by the Rays on Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Richards has pitched twice for the Rays this season but didn't look good in either outing, allowing a combined six runs on 10 hits in just 5.1 innings. The 27-year-old recorded a respectable 4.06 ERA in 135.1 innings for the Marlins and Rays last season, so he'll likely get another opportunity at some point in the near future. Austin Meadows (illness) returned from the injured list in a corresponding move.

Taylor (illness) threw another simulated game Tuesday, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

Taylor missed most of summer camp due to a positive COVID-19 test during intake testing. He appears to be closing in on a return, though his expected return date remains unclear.

Colome gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Monday to record his second save of the season in a 6-4 win over the Brewers.

With Carlos Rodon (shoulder) exiting the game early, the White Sox ran through seven pitchers, but Colome provided his usual security at the back of the bullpen. The 31-year-old has posted a 0.00 ERA through four innings to begin the season while converting both his save chances.

Lambert (forearm) will be reevaluated in six weeks, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Lambert was working his way back from Tommy John surgery when he suffered a forearm strain. Given that he won't even be reevaluated for another six weeks, his chances of appearing at any point this season appear quite slim, as there are already just eight weeks left in the regular season.

Zimmermann joined the Orioles' player pool Monday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

The lefty will give the Orioles' pitching staff additional depth, but he's unlikely to be called upon to fill a major role. He struggled upon promotion to Triple-A Norfolk last season, posting a 4.89 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP while striking out just 18.9 percent of opposing batters over seven starts.

Adams (knee) could be activated for the Mariners' upcoming road trip, which begins Aug. 10 against the Rangers, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Adams is working his way back from surgery to repair a torn ACL, a procedure he underwent back in September. The league's COVID-19 protocols make it difficult for players to get work in during a road trip while not on the roster, but it's possible Adams is ready to go before the team departs.

Thielbar's contract was selected by the Twins on Monday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

The 33-year-old has thrown 98.2 career big-league innings, all with the Twins, though none of those have come since 2015. He owns a lifetime 2.74 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP at the highest level, though the fact that he hasn't been given any major-league opportunities in the last four years indicates that he's unlikely to fill anything other than a low-leverage role.

Chapman (illness) threw Monday and will throw a bullpen session within the next two days, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports.

Chapman missed most of camp after testing positive for COVID-19. Previous reports suggested that he'd throw a bullpen session Monday, but he's evidently a day or two behind that timetable. Zack Britton will remain the temporary closer until Chapman is activated from the injured list.
