Paredes was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Paredes returned to the big-league bullpen in mid-May and made four appearances during his most recent stint in the majors. However, he allowed seven runs (four earned) on four hits and five walks while striking out five in three innings during that time. Paredes will head back to the minors to make room on the active roster for Jake Odorizzi (forearm), who was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Saturday.

Misiewicz secured his 10th hold in a win over the Rangers on Friday, striking out the side in a perfect sixth inning.

Misiewicz threw 10 of 16 pitches for strikes in what was his third straight scoreless appearance and fifth in his last six trips to the mound overall. The left-hander sports a bloated 5.00 ERA and 1.56 WHIP for the season, but those numbers are almost exclusively the byproduct of him allowing three earned runs in a trio of appearances; factoring out those hiccups, Misiewicz has yielded just one other run across his 23 outings.

Chapman (illness) tossed a scoreless inning against Detroit on Friday, allowing a walk and notching one strikeout.

Chapman missed two days while suffering from a non-COVID-19 illness, but he was able to get back on the mound Friday. The fireballer entered a tie game in the bottom of the ninth inning and immediately issued a walk, though the Tigers were unable to get a run across the plate. New York then took a lead in the 10th frame, but manager Aaron Boone opted against putting Chapman on the mound for a second inning, and Detroit ultimately pulled the game out with a pair of runs against Justin Wilson. Chapman should be good to go moving forward as he looks to build upon a season in which he has secured 11 saves while registering a 0.45 ERA and 38:9 K:BB across 20 innings.

Burdi was recalled by the White Sox as the 27th man for Saturday's doubleheader against the Orioles.

Burdi will offer another arm out of the bullpen for Saturday's twin bill after he posted a 4.26 ERA and 1.64 WHIP in 6.1 innings across five relief appearances with Triple-A Charlotte to begin the year. The right-hander will likely return to the minors after the doubleheader.

Lakins was recalled as the 27th man for Saturday's doubleheader against the White Sox.

Lakins was sent to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday, but he'll return to the big-league club for Saturday's twin bill. The right-hander will provide bullpen depth after he posted a 7.36 ERA in 14.2 innings in the majors to begin the year, and he'll likely return to Triple-A Norfolk after Saturday's doubleheader.

Pressly (neck) struck out one over one scoreless inning in Friday's 10-3 extra-innings loss to the Padres.

Pressly entered in a non-save situation and retired all three batters faced. He was unavailable for Wednesday's game due to neck stiffness and was uncertain Friday, but apparently Houston's closer is doing better.

Trivino hurled a perfect ninth inning against the Angels on Friday, striking out one batter and picking up the save.

The right-hander faced little resistance en route to his seventh save of the campaign, needing only nine pitches to set down all three batters he faced. Since a disastrous blowup against Toronto on May 5 during which he allowed five runs in one-third of an inning, Trivino has pitched seven times covering 7.2 frames without allowing an earned run. His 24:13 K:BB across 25 innings this season is nothing special, but Trivino has mostly been effective by converting all but one of his eight save opportunities.

Manaea hurled 6.2 innings against the Angels on Friday, yielding one run on six hits and three walks while striking out eight. He did not factor in the decision.

The southpaw was impressive in the outing, keeping the Angels from scoring until the seventh frame. Opposing pitcher Shohei Ohtani put up a strong performance of his own, however, preventing Manaea from ending up in the win column. Still, it was a promising outing for Manaea, who racked up 17 swinging strikes en route to his sixth quality start of the season. He is tentatively slated to make his next start at Seattle on Wednesday.

Wilson (1-1) allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit across two-thirds of an inning, taking the loss to the Tigers on Friday.

Wilson entered in the bottom of the 10th inning with a 2-1 lead. He retired the first two batters while the runner on second moved to third. However, with the Tigers down to their last out, Robbie Grossman slammed a walk-off home run off Wilson to end the game. The 33-year-old has allowed a home run in back-to-back appearances. He has a 6.08 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP with 12 strikeouts in 13.1 innings.

Swanson recorded the save in Friday's 3-2 win over the Rangers, throwing 1.1 scoreless innings and allowing a hit and a walk with two strikeouts.

Swanson relieved Keynan Middleton with two outs and runners on first and second in the eighth and struck out Adolis Garcia before finishing the ninth to lock down his first save. Swanson's use in the closer role Friday could be a result of Rafael Montero seeing work in three of the last four games while Kendall Graveman (COVID-19) remains sidelined, or it could be manager Scott Servais rewarding Swanson's excellent 0.69 ERA.
