Rodriguez (wrist) tossed two scoreless innings for Double-A Frisco on Saturday in his return from the 7-day injured list. He scattered three hits and a walk and struck out one over the 36-pitch start.

Rodriguez ended up missing the minimum amount of time due to what was apparently a minor right wrist injury. Through five outings with Frisco this season, the 23-year-old Rodriguez owns a 3.55 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 18:7 K:BB in 12.2 innings.

Mejia will make his second turn through the rotation Wednesday against the Cardinals.

Since Mejia had worked out of the bullpen in his prior three appearances with Cleveland, he faced a limited pitch count in his first MLB start Friday in Baltimore. Before giving way to the bullpen, the rookie impressed over his 50-pitch outing, holding the Orioles scoreless while permitting one hit and one walk and striking out two. He should push up his pitch count to around 65 to 75 on Wednesday, and another solid showing would likely increase his security in the Cleveland rotation.

Barnes (2-1) blew the save but won Sunday's 6-5 victory over the Yankees, pitching the ninth inning and allowing one run on one hit and two walks with two strikeouts.

Pitching for the third consecutive day, Barnes entered in the ninth to protect a 4-3 lead and coughed up a Gleyber Torres RBI double to knot the score and send the game to extras. Boston was able to plate two runs in the 10th to award Barnes the win despite the blown save. It's safe to say Barnes won't pitch in a make-up game at home against Miami tomorrow, but he should be good to go for a three-game set against Houston starting Tuesday.

Feyereisen (2-2) earned the win in relief Sunday against the Rangers after tossing 1.1 scoreless innings, walking two and fanning two.

Feyereisen compiled his fourth straight scoreless appearance and continues to pitch at a high level even when he's called upon for duty in non-save situations. The right-hander owns a 2.60 ERA on the season and continues to look comfortable in high-leverage situations, so he'll remain a key piece of the Rays' bullpen going forward.

King (5-4) was tagged with the loss in relief Sunday against the Rays after allowing three runs (two earned) on one hit and a walk across one-third of an inning.

King entered the game in the top of the eighth inning but struggled badly, as he retired only one batter and gave up three of the seven runs the Rangers allowed. This outing ended a streak of four straight scoreless appearances and ballooned his ERA to 2.40, though that's still a solid figure for a pitcher who has hurled 30 innings across 21 appearances.

Brentz has not allowed a run in his last 12 innings.

In that span, the reliever has a 13:6 K:BB with just one hit allowed. He's picked up a win and three holds. Brentz has yet to work his way into a crowded closer committee, but he's done well with a 1.95 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 31:17 K:BB and six holds in 27.2 innings overall.

Staumont (knee) pitched a scoreless inning, allowing one hit and striking out one in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Minnesota.

Staumont spent the minimum 10 days on the injured list while recovering from a knee sprain. The right-hander has pitched to a 2.66 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 26:13 K:BB in 23.2 innings this season. He's added five saves and two holds, so he should be in the mix for high-leverage work, including ninth-inning looks, going forward.

Hentges allowed five runs on nine hits and struck out two across 1.2 innings in Sunday's 18-5 loss to Baltimore.

After the southpaw navigated the third inning without much trouble, he remained in the game for the fourth. That didn't go as well, as Hentges struggled until Trevor Stephan relieved him. Hentges has collected an 8.51 ERA, 2.30 WHIP and 26:15 K:BB across 24.1 innings this year. He hasn't inspired much confidence as either a starter or a reliever through nine outings (four starts).

Nelson allowed five runs on five hits and a walk in one inning of Sunday's 18-5 loss to Baltimore.

By the time the southpaw entered the contest in the seventh inning, Cleveland already trailed 12-3. Nelson did nothing to improve the situation, allowing Baltimore to tack on five more runs. The 24-year-old had strung together five scoreless innings across five appearances prior to Sunday's disaster. He has yet to record a decision or a hold, and it's expected he'll remain in low-leverage assignments.

Hendriks struck out two batters in a perfect ninth inning to earn a save over Detroit on Sunday.

Hendriks was his usual dominant self Sunday, converting his 11th straight save dating back to April 29. The 32-year-old righty is riding a 10.2-inning scoreless streak, lowering his season ERA to 1.85. He's 15 for 17 in save chances with a 40:3 K:BB.
