Fleming (calf) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against Cleveland, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Although Collin McHugh will serve as the opener in Wednesday's nightcap, Fleming will likely serve as the primary pitcher after he spent just over the minimum amount of time on the injured list with a right calf strain. The lefty has made 13 appearances (six starts) for the Rays this year, and he's posted a 3.39 ERA and 1.06 WHIP in 66.1 innings. Left-hander Ryan Sherriff was sent down in a corresponding move.

McHugh will serve as the opener during the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against Cleveland, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

McHugh most recently tossed three scoreless innings against the Blue Jays and struck out six in that appearance, and he'll take the mound to begin Wednesday's nightcap. The right-hander has posted a 1.87 ERA and 0.98 WHIP in 33.2 innings across 19 appearances (three starts) to begin the season.

Mayers tossed a scoreless inning to pick up the hold against Boston on Tuesday. He allowed one walk and struck out one batter.

The righty reliever had some issues with his control -- only eight of his 17 pitches were strikes -- but he nonetheless kept the Red Sox off the scoreboard and served as an effective bridge between starter Shohei Ohtani and closer Raisel Iglesias. Over his past nine outings, Mayers has racked up a 15:4 K:BB across 10 innings while posting a 1.80 ERA and 1.10 WHIP.

Jax was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday, Brandon Warne of Access Twins reports.

Jax made his first career start against the Royals on Saturday and allowed six runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out three in five innings to take the loss. While the right-hander could be an option to return to the Twins as a starter or reliever at some point, he'll head to the minors ahead of the All-Star break after right-hander Michael Pineda (forearm) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Wednesday's start against the White Sox.

Mejia will be the starting pitcher for Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against Tampa Bay.

Mejia was originally slated to take the ball Tuesday, but with the game postponed due to Tropical Storm Elsa, he'll take the ball a day later instead. The right-hander will be looking to bounce back from a shaky outing in which he allowed six earned runs on five hits and two walks against the Astros on July 1.

Abreu (3-3) allowed one hit and struck out two over two scoreless innings to earn the win over Oakland on Tuesday.

Abreu was activated earlier in the day and played a key role in Houston's come-from-behind victory. He and two other relievers shut the door over the final four innings. Houston's bullpen has been unsettled all season, but Abreu has a respectable 3.21 ERA since May 1.

Iglesias gave up a solo home run while striking out two batters in the ninth inning Tuesday to record his 17th save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Red Sox.

The right-hander has served up nine homers in 39.1 innings this year, but at least it didn't affect the final outcome Tuesday. Despite his issues keeping the ball in the park, Iglesias still has a respectable 3.66 ERA on the season thanks to an elite 0.89 WHIP and 60:7 K:BB.

Pressly struck out one during a perfect ninth inning to save Tuesday's 9-6 win over Oakland.

Pressly locked down the win, but it was Houston offense's that really saved the game. The Astros were down by four runs early, then got to the Athletics' bullpen and made Pressly's 15th save possible. Houston's closer has not allowed an earned run over the last 13 innings while posting a 22:1 K:BB during that span.

Hendriks struck out four over two scoreless innings to pick up the save in Tuesday's 4-3 win over Minnesota.

Hendriks struck out the first four batters faced before getting help from center fielder Billy Hamilton, who made a diving, sliding catch off a ball hit by Max Kepler. It was Hendricks' 22nd save and fourth of more than one inning. The closer had not pitched since July 1, so he had the bullets to go two frames.

Lovelady (2-0) retired the only batter he faced, earning the win over Cincinnati on Tuesday.

The southpaw got the final out in the top of the ninth inning, and he was the pitcher of record when Kansas City rallied to walk it off in the bottom half of the frame. Lovelady allowed three runs in two-thirds of an inning his previous appearance, so he's likely to remain in a low-leverage role going forward despite picking up wins in two of his four outings this year.
