Coleman (3-1) pitched a perfect inning to earn the win Saturday over the Red Sox.

Coleman did his part to keep the game tied in the ninth inning, and he became the pitcher of record when Nick Pratto hit a two-out, walkoff solo home run in the bottom of the frame. Since the start of July, Coleman has allowed four runs (three earned) in 13.2 innings while adding five holds as he continues to work his way into a higher-leverage role. For the season, he owns a 2.80 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 44:31 K:BB in addition to nine holds through 45 innings.

Marinaccio was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.

Marinaccio allowed just one earned run and struck out 26 batters over his last 22.2 innings, but he will be the pitcher who cedes his roster spot to Frankie Montas, who will be added to the active roster to start Sunday's series finale versus the Cardinals. Given his success, Marinaccio will likely be the top option the next time the Yankees need to bring up a reliever from the minors.

Martinez will be called up from Triple-A Las Vegas to start Sunday's game against the Giants, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Martinez had mixed results over four starts with the big club earlier in the season, and he will get another chance to show what he can do in the final game of the Bay Bridge Series. He threw at least 91 pitches in his last three starts with Triple-A, so don't expect him to be on a pitch count.

Mayza left Saturday's game against the Twins with a right shoulder dislocation.

It's not yet clear how much time Mayza will miss, but he could be facing an extended absence. Mayza owns a 2.88 ERA over 41 appearances on the season, so his absence will be a blow to the Blue Jays' bullpen. The one benefit here for the southpaw is that the dislocation is not on his pitching arm.

Mayza left Saturday's game with a right shoulder injury, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.

It's not immediately clear what type of injury Mayza is dealing with, but he was forced to leave the game after colliding with Minnesota's Nick Gordon while attempting to field a bunt. Mayza's status will be updated again when more information is available.

Honeywell (elbow) will throw two simulated innings in live batting practice Monday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

The oft-injured righty hasn't pitched all season while recovering from a stress reaction in his right elbow. He's been throwing bullpen sessions for at least two weeks now, but the length of his absence and his extensive injury history means the Athletics will likely continue to bring him along very cautiously.

Brieske (forearm) could be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Wednesday against the Guardians, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Brieske hasn't pitched at the big-league level since July 12 due to forearm soreness, but he's ready to go after making a pair of rehab starts. His most recent outing, which came Friday for Triple-A Toledo, saw him strike out eight batters and walk none while allowing one run on three hits in 4.1 frames.

Thornton was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday.

Thornton has spent three separate stints in the big-league bullpen this season, posting a 4.26 ERA in 38 innings overall. His latest opportunity with the team lasted just a week and saw him make just a single appearance. Mitch White was called up to take his place on the roster.

White was recalled as expected ahead of his scheduled start Saturday against the Twins.

White was technically a member of Triple-A Buffalo's roster for the first few days after the Blue Jays acquired him from the Dodgers at the deadline, but that was merely a procedural move, as Toronto had no reason to have him block a roster spot before his team debut. He should remain in the rotation at least until Ross Stripling (hip) returns from the injured list and could stick as a back-end starter beyond that point if he impresses in his first few outings.

Giles (shoulder) allowed two earned runs on a hit, a walk and a wild pitch while recording two strikeouts over one inning in High-A Everett's loss to Hillsboro on Friday.

The good news is that the veteran worked up to 20 pitches, but he also was markedly less sharp than in his rehab debut Tuesday, when he'd fired a perfect sixth inning. The Mariners will likely want to see Giles put in at least another couple of rehab appearances, including one at the Triple-A level, before activation is considered.
