Criswell was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Criswell threw four innings as a bulk reliever Friday against the Dodgers, picking up the win. His reward will be a trip back to the minors to make room for the return of Tyler Glasnow (oblique).

Snead (shoulder) is scheduled to throw a simulated game Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Snead will get the green light to face hitters for the first time since spring training after he completed a 20-pitch bullpen session Friday with no issues. The southpaw reliever has been on the 60-day injured list all season while recovering from a shoulder strain.

Tarnok (shoulder) is scheduled to throw a simulated game Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

After tossing a 20-pitch bullpen session Friday without issue, Tarnok will advance to the next phase of his rehab by facing hitters for the first time since he was shut down in early March with a right shoulder strain. Tarnok will likely need to complete at least one more simulated game after Tuesday's before the Athletics begin to map out what's expected to be an extended minor-league rehab assignment for the 24-year-old right-hander, whom Oakland acquired in December in a three-team deal with Atlanta and Milwaukee.

Jimenez continues to rehabilitate his shoulder strain but has yet to begin throwing, the Associated Press reports.

The right-hander was transferred to the 60-day injured list back on April 19, a move that has proven to be more than procedural considering Jimenez still seems to be a ways away from returning. The 29-year-old will undoubtedly be in line for a lengthy rehab assignment if and when he's able to begin ramping back up for game action.

Akin was called up from Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday.

Akin will return to the big leagues after being sent down May 9, having produced a 1.29 ERA and 0.14 WHIP with 13 strikeouts over seven innings in four appearances with Norfolk. It's unclear what role he'll be with the Orioles, but he will replace Grayson Rodriguez on the major-league roster after Rodriguez was optioned to Triple-A on Saturday. Akin has only made one start in the majors since 2021, so it's most likely that he'll be deployed as a multi-inning reliever now that he's back with Baltimore.

Athletics manager Mark Kotsay said Harris will be called up from Triple-A Las Vegas and is scheduled to pitch Saturday against the Astros, either as a starter or bulk-relief option out of the bullpen, Alex Espinoza IV of MLB.com reports.

Harris will be looking for redemption in his return to the big leagues after he recorded just one out and was charged with six earned runs on one hit and five walks while making his MLB debut in relief April 14 against the Mets. Since heading back to Triple-A, Harris has been operating as a starter and has produced a 3.42 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 25:11 K:BB across 26.1 innings over his last six outings with Las Vegas.

Criswell (1-1) earned the win in Friday's 9-3 win over the Dodgers, allowing one run on four hits and three walks while striking out four over four innings.

Criswell struggled as a bulk reliever versus Milwaukee last Sunday, but he got another chance in that role versus the Dodgers and didn't disappoint. He's made four appearances this season across two big-league stints and holds a 6.46 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 17:6 K:BB. Despite his solid outing Friday, Criswell is a candidate to be sent down to Triple-A when Tyler Glasnow (oblique) is activated off the injured list this weekend.

Romano picked up the save Friday against the Twins. He allowed one hit over a scoreless inning. He did not strike out or walk a batter.

This outing was a welcome sight for fantasy managers, as Romano has been inconsistent at best this month. The right-hander has two blown saves to go with a loss in May, but he is still tied for fourth in the league with 11 saves.

Pressly struck out three in a perfect inning to earn the save in Friday's 5-2 win over the Athletics.

Pressly hasn't given up a run over his last five innings, allowing just two hits while striking out seven in that span. The Astros' closer has converted all nine of his save chances this season. He's sporting a 3.10 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 20:2 K:BB over 20.1 innings.

Clase allowed one run on two hits over one inning against the Cardinals on Friday. He struck out two and earned a save.

Clase picked up his league-leading 17th save of the year to finish a 4-3 win. He's now coughed up eight runs (six earned) over his last 5.2 innings. Clase's sporting a 3.60 ERA with an 18:5 K:BB and five blown saves through 25 frames.
