Charlie Blackmon RF | COL
Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Receives Sunday off
Blackmon is not in the lineup Sunday at Milwaukee, Danielle Allentuck of The Denver Gazette reports.

Bryce Harper 1B | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Out of Sunday's lineup
Harper (calf) is not in the lineup Sunday against the Mets.
The 28-year-old exited Saturday's contest after being hit by a pitch on the left calf, and he'll be out of the starting nine for at least one game. According to Todd Zolecki of MLB.com, Harper is dealing with some tightness in the calf but may still be available as a pinch hitter. Travis Jankowski will start in right field Sunday for the Phillies.

Miguel Cabrera DH | DET
Tigers' Miguel Cabrera: Retreats to bench Sunday
Cabrera is not starting Sunday against the Astros, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Cabrera missed two games earlier this week with a calf issue before returning to the lineup Friday. He'll return to the bench for the beginning part of Sunday's game as Nomar Mazara handles the DH duties during the series finale.

Jesse Winker DH | NYM
Reds' Jesse Winker: Not starting Sunday
Winker (hip) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta.
Winker exited Saturday's game with a right hip contusion, but he said after the game that he was "fine." The outfielder will still get at least the beginning portion of the series finale off and it's to be seen if he'll be available off the bench. The issue should still be considered minor at this point, with the Reds possibly providing further update later Sunday.

Yordan Alvarez DH | HOU
Astros' Yordan Alvarez: Whacks game-tying homer
Alvarez went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer and a walk in Saturday's win over the Tigers.
Alvarez took Detroit closer Michael Fulmer deep to tie the game at 2-2 in the sixth inning, the 13th long ball of the season for the young slugger and his fourth in the last six games. After injuries wiped out virtually the entire 2020 season for Alvarez, the 24-year-old has come back to slash .306/.370/.541 with 49 RBI across 270 plate appearances.

Andrew McCutchen DH | TEX
Phillies' Andrew McCutchen: Swipes two bags Saturday
McCutchen went 1-for-2 with two runs scored, an RBI and two stolen bases in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Mets.
James McCann was brought in by the Mets in the offseason to improve the team's performance against opposition basestealers, but the pitching staff still features a number of slow deliveries and the Phillies took advantage Saturday, going 5-for-6 on steal attempts while either Jacob deGrom or Edwin Diaz were on the mound. McCutchen only has five stolen bases on the year and hadn't swiped one since May 13, but he clearly still has a bit of juice in his 34-year-old legs.

Ji-Man Choi 1B | NYM
Rays' Ji-Man Choi: Bangs out four hits
Choi went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI in a win over the Angels on Saturday.
The first baseman drove in Randy Arozarena with a fifth-inning single and added another RBI in the seventh with a double that once again plated Arozarena. It was the first four-hit effort of the season for Choi, who is slashing .272/.392/.407 with two home runs and 13 RBI across 97 plate appearances.

Brandon Belt DH | TOR
Giants' Brandon Belt: Seeking second opinion
Belt will travel to Los Angeles and Stanford in search of a second opinion on his knee injury, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Belt has been banged up by minor issues throughout the season and hit the injured list for the second time this year Friday with what's being called right knee inflammation for now. A clearer picture of the severity of the issue and his expected return date should emerge after he gets the additional opinion.
