Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT
Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Enters diversion program
Ozuna (finger injuries) agreed Thursday to enter a diversion program which could see his domestic violence charges dropped within six months, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
Ozuna is facing misdemeanor charges for family battery violence and simple assault after he was arrested back in late May. Both charges carry up to a year of jail time, but he can avoid jail if he completes the program's requirements, which include six months of supervision, 200 hours of community service, an anger management course and a psychological evaluation. While the development may assist MLB's decision regarding any potential suspension for Ozuna, the league is still doing its own investigation and could come to a different conclusion than the courts.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Sitting out Wednesday
Jimenez (knee) is out of the lineup Wednesday against the A's.
X-rays confirmed Jimenez suffered a bruised right knee during Tuesday's win over Oakland, and it's not a major surprise the White Sox will give him at least one game out of the lineup. According to James Fegan of The Athletic, manager Tony La Russa said the 24-year-old is dealing with a significant bone bruise, and the skipper would be "pleasantly surprised" if Jimenez is able to play Thursday. Andrew Vaughn will take over in left field while Gavin Sheets serves as the designated hitter.
