Andrew McCutchen DH | TEX
Pirates' Andrew McCutchen: Pops 12th long ball
McCutchen went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Cardinals.
McCutchen has cooled considerably since mid-June, as he's hitting only .154 across his last 11 games. However, he managed his 12th homer of the season and second in his last five starts Tuesday, continuing a surprising resurgence of power. His ISO is currently .169, McCutchen's highest mark since the 2021 season.

Jorge Soler DH | LAA
Giants' Jorge Soler: Goes yard Tuesday
Soler went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-3 win over Atlanta.
Soler hit .284 in June, but he had just three homers over 26 contests for the month. He's off to a decent start in July, though his power remains down overall. The designated hitter is slashing .229/.309/.406 with 10 homers, 32 RBI, 42 runs scored, 17 doubles and no stolen bases through 73 games this season. His .177 ISO is the lowest it's been since the 2017 campaign.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Diamondbacks' Joc Pederson: Smacks homer in loss
Pederson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Dodgers.
Pederson had gone six games without a homer or a multi-hit effort before snapping both droughts Tuesday. His ninth-inning blast briefly put the Diamondbacks ahead before the Dodgers responded in their half of the frame. Pederson is up to 11 homers this year while slashing a hearty .286/.378/.507 with 35 RBI, 31 runs scored and four stolen bases over 239 plate appearances in his usual strong-side platoon role.

Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Homer among three hits in win
Ohtani went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks.
Ohtani was a triple shy of the cycle in another impressive game from atop the order. Over his last 20 games, the superstar has slugged 12 homers and driven in 23 runs while batting .351 (26-for-74). He's been outstanding all year and seems to be getting better with his recent performance. Justyn-Henry Malloy 3B | TB
Tigers' Justyn-Henry Malloy: Goes deep again Tuesday
Malloy went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Twins.
Malloy is starting to settle in at the MLB level, as he blasted his fourth career home run and second in as many games. The rookie was batting .158 through his first 13 contests, but he's upped that to a more respectable .241 over his last 11 games. There's still room for improvement, though if Malloy can continue to display good power, fantasy managers will deal with a lower batting average.

Charlie Blackmon RF | COL
Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Sitting versus lefty
Blackmon isn't in the Rockies' lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Brewers, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports.
The left-handed bat of Blackmon will step out of the lineup Tuesday versus fellow southpaw Dallas Keuchel. Hunter Goodman will move into right field as a result while Elias Diaz serves as the DH, allowing Jacob Stallings to start behind the plate and bat sixth.
-
J.D. Martinez DH | NYM
Mets' J.D. Martinez: Scratched with ankle soreness
Martinez was scratched from the Mets' lineup ahead of Tuesday's game versus Washington due to left ankle soreness, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.
The severity of Martinez's injury isn't immediately apparent, but it's enough of a nuisance to keep him from playing Tuesday. Luis Torrens will step into the lineup as New York's designated hitter and bat sixth while Martinez rests.

Mitch Garver DH | SEA
Mariners' Mitch Garver: Remaining out Tuesday
Garver (wrist) isn't in the Mariners' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles.
