Buxton (migraines) is uncertain for Wednesday's game against Cleveland, the Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports. Complicating matters for Buxton and the Twins is his history of having migraines. "He has history," manager Paul Molitor said. "Sometimes they come and go. Sometimes they linger. You could tell he wasn't right when he came in. He got checked out and we sent him back (to the team hotel)."

Buxton was unable to take batting practice Tuesday. Earlier this spring Buxton said he gets the migraines about once a month, but that he now takes stronger medicine to address it. "It's just a thing I know I have to put up with," he told the Pioneer Press. "When they do come, I just take the medicine, and it just calms it down."

Ohtani was removed from Tuesday's game against the Red Sox after developing a blister on his right hand.

The emergence of the blister on his throwing hand may help explain Ohtani's poor performance. He had trouble locating his splitter and surrendered three runs on four hits and two walks over two hard-fought innings. The severity of the blister will determine if he's able to make his next scheduled start or if he'll perhaps require a stint on the disabled list. We'll await further details from the Angels on that front.

Cabrera (lower back) is expected to play Wednesday against the Orioles, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Cabrera was removed early from Tuesday's game with lower-back tightness, but manager Ron Gardenhire confirmed after the contest that his removal was simply precautionary. Assuming he's in the lineup, Cabrera will have an exploitable matchup against Orioles righty Kevin Gausman.

Cabrera was 0-for-2 with two walks and a strikeout before leaving the game prior to the ninth inning. It was a cold night in Detroit, so that may have been a factor in his back tightening up. We'll have to wait and see if he'll be able to suit up for Wednesday's tilt.

Soler is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Blue Jays, Joel Goldberg of FOX Sports Kansas City reports.

Soler will take a seat to start the second half of the twin bill after going 2-for-4 in Game 1. In his place, Whit Merrifield will slide to right field while Ryan Goins picks up a start at second base.

Canha is in the lineup for the third straight game Tuesday against the White Sox, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The Athletics' center-field situation is in flux with Opening Day starter Boog Powell (knee) on the disabled list until early May. Canha may be taking over as the temporary starter, though his fantasy value will be limited even with regular playing time. He's hit .234/.291/.410 with 25 homers and nine steals in 202 career major-league games.

Buxton was scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the Indians due to a migraine.

With Buxton heading to the bench, Max Kepler will slide over to center field while Robbie Grossman will enter the lineup in right field. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Winker (shoulder) is playing right field and hitting second Tuesday against the Brewers, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic Cincinnati reports.

Winker was absent from the starting lineup the past four days, but he did manage to pinch-hit in Monday's contest. He figures to operate as part of a four-man outfield rotation once Scott Schebler (elbow) is back in action.

Winker (shoulder) made a pinch-hit appearance against the Brewers on Monday, drawing a walk in the eighth inning.

Winker has now missed four consecutive starts with a sore right shoulder and his status for Tuesday is uncertain, but the Reds' willingness to use him off the bench suggests he is not in imminent danger of landing on the DL. The 24-year-old hasn't done much of note so far this season, but he is getting on base at a .413 clip, so he should continue to see starts atop the order against right-handed pitching.

Harper went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Monday's 8-6 win over the Mets.

While his bases-loaded single in the eighth inning was a more crucial blow in the contest, as it kick-started the Nats' six-run comeback, it's Harper's first-inning solo shot off Jacob deGrom that will be on repeat in highlight packages for a while. Despite being sawed off by an inside fastball that broke his bat at the handle, he still muscled the ball over the fence to right-center and trotted around the bases holding the stump. Harper now leads MLB with eight home runs while sporting an otherworldly .315/.487/.778 slash line.
