Turner (groin) was activated from the 10-day disabled list and will man third base and bat third against Milwaukee on Thursday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Turner will immediately return to action after spending the minimum 10 days on the DL with a right groin strain. Across 50 games this year, he's hit just .259/.354/.398 with five home runs and 20 RBI, and will likely cede some starts to Max Muncy and Manny Machado at the hot corner as the dog days of August begin.

Ozuna (toe) said he will be ready for Friday's game against the Pirates, Brian Stull of stlbaseballweekly.com reports.

Carpenter went 0-for-2 with three walks, two runs and a stolen base in a win over the Rockies on Wednesday.

His second-inning stolen base was his first of the season as well, and Carpenter has now pushed his on-base percentage to .388, the second-highest total of his career.

The true threat to the slugger's playing time comes in the form of trade deadline acquisitions Manny Machado and Brian Dozier, whose presence create logjams at multiple positions on the depth chart. Pederson should continue to have a presence in the outfield against righties, but Cody Bellinger and Chris Taylor could eat into his playing time in center with Yasiel Puig and Matt Kemp occupying regular roles in the corners.

Ozuna's .708 OPS is a far cry from last season's .924 mark, but he seems to be turning a corner of late. The 27-year-old has been red-hot over the last six games, going 10-for-25 (.400) with three home runs and eight RBI over that span. On the year he's now slashing .270/.313/.395 with 13 homers and 59 RBI.

Harper went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base Wednesday against New York.

Harper plated a run in the first inning on a single, and the Nationals wouldn't look back as they took the series finale versus the Mets. He finished July hitting .235 with five homers and 15 RBI through 24 games, so he'll look to improve his batting average over the last two months of the season. Harper owns a career .278 average.

On Monday, Buxton suffered a recurrence of the wrist injury that initially put him on the shelf in the middle of July. It doesn't appear as though he sustained any sort of structural damage, but don't expect the Twins to rush him back into action at Rochester until he's fully healthy.
