Andrew McCutchen DH | TEX
Phillies' Andrew McCutchen: Takes seat Sunday
McCutchen is not in Sunday's lineup against the Marlins.
He is 0-for-9 with three strikeouts and zero walks through two games. Jay Bruce will start in left field while Neil Walker gets the start at designated hitter.

Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Mariners' Daniel Vogelbach: Out of Sunday's lineup
Vogelbach is not in Sunday's lineup against the Astros.
This comes as a bit of a surprise as the Mariners are facing a righty (Zack Greinke) in the third game of the series. Vogelbach is 0-for-7 with two strikeouts and one walk through two games. Jose Marmolejos will get the start at designated hitter while batting sixth.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Part of offensive barrage
Jimenez went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 10-3 win over the Twins.
The White Sox offense was held in check over the first four innings but exploded for nine runs in the middle innings. Included in the explosion was Jimenez's first home run of the season. The left fielder, who has extra-base hits in each of the first two games, launched 31 homers in his rookie 2019 season.

Miguel Cabrera DH | DET
Tigers' Miguel Cabrera: Flashes power in Cincinnati
Cabrera went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in the Tigers' 6-4 win over the Reds on Saturday.
Michael Lorenzen left a changeup high in the strike zone on a 3-2 count and Cabrera put the ball in the left-field seats, just inside the foul pole. Cabrera was hitless Opening Day, though he did draw a walk. He's batting third as the everyday DH.

Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT
Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Comes up clutch Saturday
Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a game-tying solo home run in Saturday's 5-3 extra-inning win over the Mets.
Mets closer Edwin Diaz was within one out of protecting a 2-1 lead when Ozuna knocked the game-tying homer into the right-field seats. The 29-year-old Ozuna will likely be a fixture in the heart of the Braves' order due to his powerful bat, but it remains to be seen if he'll serve more as a left fielder or a designated hitter in 2020.

Kyle Lewis DH | ARI
Mariners' Kyle Lewis: Homers again
Lewis went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Astros.
Lewis went yard in the sixth inning against Astros starter Lance McCullers. The 25-year-old Lewis has homered in both of the Mariners' games this season -- the only problem has been a lack of runners on base when he has done so. The outfielder has also amassed four strikeouts already, which could make him a boom-or-bust option in fantasy.

Justin Turner DH | CHC
Dodgers' Justin Turner: Drives in two
Turner went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and two RBI in Friday's win over the Giants.
Turner drove in the Dodgers' second run of the game with a single to left field in the second inning. He added another RBI in the fourth frame with a double to deep left field to bring home Max Muncy. The 35-year-old is 3-for-8 with a pair of doubles over his first two games this season.

Brandon Belt DH | TOR
Giants' Brandon Belt: Expected back Thursday
Belt (Achilles) is expected to return from the injured list Thursday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Belt has been battling an Achilles injury since early in camp. His placement on the injured list was backdated to July 20, so he'll be eligible to return a week into the season.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Dodgers' Joc Pederson: Scores twice, swipes bag
Pederson went 1-for-3 with two runs, a walk and a stolen base in Friday's win over San Francisco.
Pederson worked on his flexibility during parts of spring and summer and demonstrated the results with a pair of stolen bases in intrasquad action, so Friday's theft may be indicative of a commitment to running more often this season. The slugger stole just one base both of the past two seasons, but he swiped between 26 and 31 bags in the minors for four straight campaigns between 2011 and 2014. It is also important to note that Pederson was in the lineup despite facing a southpaw starter, a rare occurrence in 2019. The 28-year-old's power is a given, but if he is able to play more consistently and add an occasional stolen base to his repertoire this season, his fantasy value could grow significantly.

Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Angels' Shohei Ohtani: Won't be on pitch count
Ohtani will not be on a pitch count in his first start of the season Sunday against Oakland, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Pitchers entered this season at varying levels of readiness depending on how well they were able to stay in some approximation of game shape during the shutdown period. In Ohtani's case, he continued to throw the whole time as he was still completing his rehab from Tommy John surgery. Expect him to pitch as deep into the contest as his performance allows.
