Marlins' Harold Ramirez: Activated from injured list
Ramirez was activated from the COVID-19 injured list Saturday and will bat sixth and play left field against the Rays, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Ramirez appeared in just two games prior to being sidelined as part of the Marlins' early-season coronavirus outbreak. How exactly he'll fit into the team's plans in the outfield going forward remains to be seen. Corey Dickerson has been the team's primary left fielder, though he's hitting just .224/.291/.383 on the season.

Giants' Alex Dickerson: Keeps hitting streak alive
Dickerson went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs scored in Friday's loss against the Diamondbacks.
Dickerson has now recorded two or more hits in each of his last five contests, knocking at least one double in three straight games. He seems to have received a confidence boost after his three-homer performance on Sept. 1 and is hitting .542 during the aforementioned five-game stretch. He's slashing a career-best .277/.351/.554 on the season.

Giants' Brandon Belt: Belts sixth homer of season
Belt went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, two total RBI and a walk in Friday's loss against Arizona.
Belt smashed his sixth long ball of the season off reliever Hector Rondon, and that ended a streak of seven games without a homer for the veteran first baseman. Belt has been seeing the ball extremely well of late and is hitting .531 with a 1.709 OPS, three homers, eight RBI, nine runs scored and a 7:6 BB:K across his last 10 games.

Royals' Jorge Soler: Held hitless in return
Soler (back/oblique) went 0-for-5 with a pair of strikeouts in Friday's 7-4 loss to the White Sox.
Soler missed one game with his injury, but wasn't able to make much of an impact in his return. He's now in the midst of a 7-for-35 (.200) slump over his last 10 games. The 28-year-old is slashing .237/.333/.459 with eight homers, 22 RBI and 16 runs scored in 38 games overall.

White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Three-hit effort Friday
Jimenez went 3-for-5 with an RBI double and a run scored in Friday's 7-4 win over the Royals.
Jimenez got aboard with a single in the second inning and eventually scored on a Nick Madrigal single. In the seventh, Jimenez added insurance with a double to plate Luis Robert. Jimenez has racked up 11 homers, 29 RBI, 20 runs scored and a .292/.327/.569 slash line through 37 games this season.

Cardinals' Matt Carpenter: Homers for lone run
Carpenter went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Cubs.
Carpenter was the only Cardinal to manage a hit off Cubs starter Yu Darvish, and that hit left the yard in the sixth inning. It's the second homer of the year for Carpenter, to go with 14 RBI and 14 runs scored across 27 games. He's slashing .181/.340/.289 through 103 plate appearances.

Martinez isn't in the lineup for the second game of Friday's twin bill against the Blue Jays.
Martinez went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts to begin Friday's doubleheader and will sit for Game 2. Tzu-Wei Lin will start in left field in his place.

Phillies' Bryce Harper: Receives Friday off
Harper won't be in the lineup Friday against the Mets, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
The veteran outfielder started the past 11 games, but he'll take a seat for the second time this season after going 6-for-37 with a .636 OPS during that stretch. Harper still has a .365 on-base percentage during that time frame, but he's also struck out 14 times. He should rejoin the lineup Saturday after receiving the day to reset.

Royals' Jorge Soler: Back in action Friday
Soler (back/oblique) is batting third as the designated hitter Friday against the White Sox, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
The 28-year-old exited Wednesday's contest with oblique irritation and mid-back tightness and sat out Thursday's game, but he'll return after a one-game absence. Soler has been scuffling over his past eight games, going 5-for-26 with a .690 OPS and 11 strikeouts.
