Giancarlo Stanton DH | NYY
Marlins' Giancarlo Stanton: Out of lineup Saturday
Stanton is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Braves.

Matt Carpenter DH | STL
Cardinals' Matt Carpenter: Out of Saturday's lineup
Carpenter is out of the lineup Saturday against the Brewers.
He is just getting a rest day Saturday after starting the last 16 games for the Redbirds. Carpenter may not look the part physically, but he has emerged as a bonafide superstar and is slashing .299/.422/.579 with 14 homers on the season. Greg Garcia will start at the hot corner and Kolten Wong will get the start at second base Saturday.

Yoenis Cespedes DH | NYM
Mets' Yoenis Cespedes: Smacks 20th homer of season Friday
Cespedes went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, walk and two runs in Friday's 10-2 victory over the Cubs.
He's now gone deep in back-to-back games five times this season, and has hit safely in five straight, as well as nine of his last 10. Cespedes produced a stellar .315/.374/.494 line in June but only notched four round-trippers during the month, so seeing him start July off with a bomb has to put a smile on the face of his fantasy owners.

Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT
Marlins' Marcell Ozuna: Collects four hits Friday
Ozuna went 4-for-6 with a homer, a run and four RBI Friday at the Braves.
Ozuna launched his 17th bomb of the year to give the Marlins a 2-0 lead in the first inning, and he later broke open a 4-4 tie with an RBI single in the seventh inning. He now has five homers in his last 10 games to raise his slugging percentage to .567 on the year.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Dodgers' Joc Pederson: Diagnosed with sprained AC joint
Pederson has been diagnosed with a sprained right AC joint, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
The Dodgers put Pederson on the DL prior to Friday game and called up Will Venable in a corresponding move. Fortunately, it seems Pederson has a good chance to be ready to go following the All-Star break. Trayce Thompson has taken over in center field in the interim.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Dodgers' Joc Pederson: Lands on 15-day DL
Pederson (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day DL on Friday.
Will Venable was summoned back from Triple-A Oklahoma City to take Pederson's spot on the roster, but it looks like Trayce Thompson will serve as Pederson's primary replacement in center field. Pederson will be eligible to return when play resumes following the All-Star break, but it's uncertain if he'll be ready at that time.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Dodgers' Joc Pederson: Out again Friday
Pederson (shoulder) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rockies.
A DL decision in coming, and Will Venable's reported presence in the Dodgers' clubhouse would seem to bode poorly for Pederson's chances of avoiding deactivation. Trayce Thompson is in center field once again Friday, flanked by Howie Kendrick and Yasiel Puig.

Brandon Belt DH | TOR
Giants' Brandon Belt: Brings four home in Thursday victory
Belt went 2-for-5 with four RBI, a walk and a run in Thursday's 12-6 victory over the A's.
The 28-year-old opened the scoring for the Giants with a third-inning ground-rule double that brought home Madison Bumgarner and Denard Span, and he closed out the 12-run haul with an RBI single in the ninth that plated Conor Gillaspie and Span. Belt has smacked a two-bagger in three straight, and closes out June by having hit safely in six of his last seven contests.

Yoenis Cespedes DH | NYM
Mets' Yoenis Cespedes: Blasts 19th homer of year Thursday
Cespedes went 1-for-4 with a solo homer Thursday against the Cubs.
Cespedes' 19th homer of the year got the Mets on the board in the sixth inning, which ignited a comeback from a three-run deficit in a game they'd go on to win. He's now hit safely in eight of his last nine games, and he's slashing .288/.357/.562.

Bryce Harper 1B | PHI
Nationals' Bryce Harper: Getting day off Thursday
Harper is not in the lineup Thursday against the Reds, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports.
It looks to be just a regular day off for Harper, as he's started each of the previous 16 games. He reached base twice Wednesday, but failed to record a hit as he went 0-for-2 with a pair of walks, and will take a seat against the left-handed Brandon Finnegan. Chris Heisey will get the start in his place and play right field Thursday.
